Very fun everytime I come here! I suggest going in during dinner time. Music is always fun and the prices are great for the amount of food you get! Although I will say, my chile rellenos were absolutely drenched in cheese unfortunately and the jalapenos were actually way too much sodium than I could handle!

Our first time in and we will absolutely be back! The food was fresh, fast, and amazingly delicious. The guacamole can be made with varying spice level and the cheese sauce is on point! The shredded chicken is perfection and has all the right spices. The fajitas come with either flour or corn tortillas. The shrimp were big and the steak was really good. I recommend this spot to everyone who enjoys Mexican. While we aren’t drinkers, their bar is very well stocked and they have 4 tvs behind the bar for everyone to view.

I have been to Big Boss Burritos a few times now. I always flock to the Al Pastor Burrito. $20 for a huge amount of food.
Service has always been great here. I typically call in a pickup order or arrive at the restaurant to place a carry out order.
It’s always fresh and hot. The Al Pastor has pineapple in it. They also are one of the few places that use black beans. The Loco Burrito has black beans.
I am from Maryland and have been trying to find “my Mexican restaurant”. Big boss is it for sure.
Highly recommend the Al Pastor Burrito to start with and I will be back to try other things on the menu!

Big Boss Burritos is our newest local OV restaurant, and they are absolutely crushing it. Everything we’ve tried has been consistently delicious — fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and portions that actually feel worth it. There’s real care in the food, and it shows.
I also love their story. They built a following as a food truck first, and you can tell they brought that same hustle and quality into the restaurant. They took their time getting everything right — including finally securing their liquor license — and it paid off. The spicy margaritas are top notch: perfectly balanced, flavorful, and dangerously easy to order again. ️
What really seals it, though, is the staff. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy you’re there — which matters. It already feels like a neighborhood staple in the making.

This place was great. Ordered the molcajete and it did not disappoint. That shit was fire. They don’t skimp out either. Comes with 4 proteins. I honestly loved it!! Ill return here over and over!!!
Update on my review… this was my second time here and I tried an Al Pastor burrito this time. It was great! The meat is well prepared and I love the amount of generous pieces of pineapple it had inside. Very authentic. Was very pleased with my order. Definitely worth the price. Will return to try their seafood next time!

I just moved back home and a friend recommended this place — I’m so glad they did. Not only is it in a cool neighborhood with a real community vibe, but every single employee speaks, smiles, and makes you feel welcome. The service is genuinely outstanding.
The food is absolutely delicious with real, authentic flavors. It gave me true hometown vibes, and I can already tell I’ll be a regular. I’m pretty sure the owner was walking around checking in with guests and supporting the team, which was amazing to see as someone who’s been in the industry for over 20+ years.
The bartender even checked on my drinks throughout the meal — talk about customer service. It felt like being back in DC in the best way.
I came two days in a row and left stuffed and happy both times. And whatever you do, don’t skip the guacamole. It’s incredible.

I saw an Instagram video praising the Birria Tacos at this place. She was right. A little, no a lot messy to eat but they were great. I’ve eaten in hundreds of Mexican restaurants but this was a treat. All the usual things but many new dishes I’ve never seen before. A nice place, out door and indoor seating. Lots of parking. Chips and really fresh salsa a few minutes after sitting down. Wanted some queso but waiter recommended the Queso Fundido. That almost filled me up. The super hot pan crisped the cheese on the bottom, fantastic. Ordered the Birria Tacos but only managed 1/3 of it. Nice and juicy ! Charro beans were super tasty. Having the flan for a midnight snack ! Only issue is their liquor license is still pending. If you work for the board, speed that up !
