I’ve been a BBQ lover all my life, and I’ve been to all the joints in Milwaukee and plenty in Memphis and in the south as well as smoking meats in my spare time. This might be THE BEST BBQ I’ve ever had, ever! I have no idea what this guy does differently but he wasn’t kidding when he said he had the best in the city. The pulled pork was so tender and melted right in my mouth, and you could taste the smoke flavoring all throughout. It was perfectly done. The big boss himself and his employees are super friendly and the dining area is clean and welcoming. I’m definitely coming back here next time I’m in Milwaukee. Give these guys a try, you won’t be disappointed

The lady taking the order was very efficient, professional and nice. I ordered rib tips, greens, macaroni and cheese. All was good was great. I like the fact the white bread they give was fresh. Very important for me. I wish he would stay open later. Food is really good. I like how the lady brings the food to you and make sure you are happy. 10/10 for me

Do not order using “ square “, uber eats is preferred or just go in person it’s quick. I got the jerk chicken, ribs, greens, mac n cheese and corn bread. My whole family enjoyed the meal very much! Best BBQ I’ve had in MKE to date! The jerk chicken was the cooked on the grill / smoked and you can tell it was made with love. It’s the right amount of spicy too. The ribs were soft and fall off the bone, juicy! Overall flavor of everything is exactly what I want to taste when I think of BBQ. I wish I hadn’t eaten it so fast to share pictures but it looked just as good as it smelled and taste. I highly recommend this BBQ establishment to anyone looking for satisfying and flavorful BBQ. I will go back again and update this post with pictures.

Big Boss BBQ is good stuff! They were out of most of the meats, so I had fried catfish. It was hot and fresh and sooo good. When they say candied yams, they aren’t joking about the “candied” part. Carryout only, extra charge for paying with card. 5/5 would go again.

I didn’t personally go to the restaurant, but I had someone order me some chitterlings!!! They had flavor, but they were not cleaned at all!! They were chewy and I personally had to clean them before taking another bite. Advice from a chitterling connoisseur, please clean them before you cook them!!!!!!!!!!!

Me and my wife been going to this restaurant for 4 years from Big Daddy’s BBQ to now Big Boss BBQ we ordered the meatloaf dinners and rib tips just meat and it was out of sight I mean so delicious and cooked to perfection and they have never let us down with providing the best barbecue and meals and dinners I would recommend anybody in this city to go to Big Boss BBQ!!! I would say this is the the best bbq in the city that I’ve ever had…Ribs are so flavorful and literally falling off the bone I had the BBQ ribs combo with coleslaw, baked beans and a side of Mac and cheese. Even all the sides were absolutely Delicious!!!I am a chef and a foodie and will definitely be back especially since I live only a block away!!

I just ordered for the first time two of the Sunday special jerk ribs and an order of the bbq ribs meal with the Mac n cheese n greens. The food was a hit but maybe a jerk bbq sauce would have been better because the jerk alone was just too spicy but it was good I just added some sweet baby rays too it. The greens were perfect, the mac n cheese was very bland. But I must say that banana pudding was so good it didn’t make it past the parking lot. Overall 9 out of 10. I will definitely be back again!!! Didn’t even take long at all for my order. Thank you

I loved this place as soon as I walked through the door… The food (had the big boss plate, with ribs, jerk, tips, 2 sides.. I chose the mixed greens and mac; and cornbread muffins) for $ 25.99 which is a great price for the amount of food I received.
I thought everything was great except for the Mac, could have used a little more flavor…. I suggest this place to anyone that loves some good tender Que…..
