Went into for lunch and we ended up getting the Philly sub and mushroom Swiss
Food came hot and quickly. Service was friendly and helpful. The bar had a “local bar atmosphere that was nice. Music/ noise was not too loud, granted we were 2 of the 4 people in the building.
Cook came out with warm and friendly smile which was appreciated.
Food:
Philly: 4.2/10
Meat was adequate, but the bun could have used an upgrade. It was like a foot long bun made into a sub bun. Too soft for my liking. Would have been better if it was toasted more. The onions and cheese carried the flavor overall.
Mushroom Swiss: 7.5/10
Flavor puts it right where it needs to be if you are going into a bar. Not too messy and flavor was really good.
We both got fries that was slightly lacking in quantity .. I would have liked to have a little more, but we’re super hot and fresh so cannot complain too much.
We have been hearing a lot of good things about the seafood and will update ratings after we give that a go. We will be back again.

Nice little dive in the Saginaw area.
We stopped for dinner on our way up north and had a good time.
The bartender was super nice and they had a decent beer selection.
The layout of the bar is really awkward but its decent enough.
The bathrooms arent great. The stall in men’s is broke so you have to use a chair to keep the door closed, it’s as hilarious as it is awkward.
The food was pretty good. We had burgers and fries and as bad a bar goes they were great.

WOW! Let me start by saying, I am a SUPER hard person to please with food. I am a very good cook, and prefer comfort food that is seasoned and juicy. If I can make it better, I don’t want it.
Well…. this is my first time in Saginaw. I was here on a job. We stopped here for lunch before heading back to flint. AMAZING ! Absolutely delicious.
At first, before we got our food (togo), I saw our bill. 33.90. For 2 burgers, fries and tots. No drinks. I was bummed by the price, it’s a little high for a bar… but when I started eating….! Let me tell you, I’d pay every dime again. It was WELL worth it.
Consider me a customer for life! Because if I ever find myself close again, I will be coming back.

I had a hunger for a really good mushroom and Swiss burger. I just haven’t found one that was that great. We were driving through Saginaw so I googled best mushroom and Swiss burger in Saginaw and found this little gem. When I say it was the best burger I have ever had I mean it. Was nice and juicy and loads of toppings. You will not be disappointed if you stop.

First of all, food was overpriced for what it was.
We paid $40 dollars for two “Beast” burgers with “chips”, (fries are not included) and the taste was just like fat meat. Not quality at all.
