Stopped by Big Belly Deli and tried The Godfather, and it was seriously so good.
The sandwich was packed with meat, the bread was soft and fresh, and everything just worked together perfectly. One of those sandwiches where you take a bite and immediately know you made the right choice.
The place has a cool, relaxed vibe inside with fun decor and plenty of seating. Service was quick and friendly, and our food arrived quickly.
Simple, solid, and really satisfying. Definitely a great local spot for a really good sandwich. I’ll be back for sure.

We stopped by Big Belly Deli for a late lunch after reading all the great reviews, and I’m glad we did. It was our first time there, and it definitely won’t be our last!
I ordered the hot pastrami on rye with extra meat and cheese. It was stacked, juicy, tender, and perfectly sauced. My wife opted for the hot meatball sub and was pleasantly surprised to find that the meatballs were wrapped in pepperoni; something we’d never seen before, but it worked really well.
While we were waiting, Chris, who we later learned was the owner along with her husband, came by to check if we were okay with the pepperoni twist on the meatball sub. She even let us try a sample before they made it. That small, thoughtful gesture meant a lot, and the sandwich turned out to be incredible.
We also tried the macaroni salad and potato salad. Everything was fresh and hit the spot. The dining space is clean, bright, and comfortable. One thing to note: they close at 3 PM, and the brownies go quickly, so get there early if you have a chocolate craving like I do.
This place feels like it’s run by people who genuinely care about customer engagement and satisfaction. Let’s just say the name “Big Belly Deli” is on point; you’ll leave feeling full, happy, and already planning your next visit!

This place is great! Great salads and sandwiches! My favorite is the barbecue chicken salad with the bleu cheese dressing. The best bleu cheese dressing ever and the quality is amazing!

If I could give 6 stars, I would. The sandwich was delicious with fresh bread and high quality meat. Service was impeccable, everything was served neatly and the seats/tables were very clean. Can’t beat the price as they’re large sandwiches that come with a bag of chips. The cherry on top was the free brownie as it was my first time in.
Any time I am hungry and in the area, I will be going to Big Belly Deli.

Went around 2pm, not very busy, staff was very nice and gave good recommendations. Had the hot pastrami and it was absolutely perfect, perfect amount of sauce, meat and pickles. The bread was perfectly toasted. No complaints, can’t wait to try more of their sandwiches

As usual, another awesome birthday celebration held there sandwiches as usual. Super tasty and just are likings. We had the Turkey and shutter Hammond, Swiss and the veggie. Which honestly everybody liked it had the cream cheese. The pepper Jack and some other goodies lettuce tomatoes all that fun stuff. Thank you, Cris and Howard for putting on another event for me. At Tiffany and Logan for helping out I’m again super glad we choose you guys for all of our birthdays.

Hands down one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Prices are very reasonable and the owners are absolutely fantastic. As a truck driver it’s hard to find good food but this place also has plenty of street parking for my rig. It’s a new stopping spot when I pass thru Lodi.

When i say this is the best sandwhich shop in lodi, hands down the best. Brownies are also amazing (fyi come early for one because they will sell out) and the most important part is their customer service is beyond A1. They really value me everytime i come in and always have a smile on their face and treat me like a friend. I will forever have that place in my heart.
