Facebook posts show great looking sandwiches, so I really wanted to give this place a try. Not gonna lie, I was a little nervous when I pulled up next to a bait shop and a gas station, but we decided to give it a go. The sandwiches were indeed big enough for 2 meals. The cost was great for the portion sizes. But the best part, was the quality. Anybody can take cheap ingredients and fill bread – but the bread alone was perfectly prepared and overflowing with fresh meats and condiments. Unfortunately, they did not have any donuts. I’ll definitely be going back to try again.
(The one suggestion I’d make is for the gravy. It has an amazing flavor, but it’s thick, like it’s concentrated and needed to be cut a bit to balance out how it coated the fries)

My husband and I wanted to try some place new. I saved this place on my google maps. This place is your hole in the wall kind of place. I loved my Shrimp Salad Sandwich and my husband enjoyed his Italian sub sandwich. They make there sandwiches supersized…big plus plus!!The sandwich did not have any sides but sold separately….so we ordered mozzarella sticks and French fries. They were all good. I just wish they had like old bay or JO stuff for the fries to be put on after those delicious hot fries come out. I hope they take that into consideration and suggestion for the fries…that would be cool. Seating is limited so have some one order the food and someone sit at a table. When we got there their donuts were sold out for the day. If they sold out…they must be good. Will be definitely coming back for another sandwich and hopefully they will have doubts.

I keep coming back because the portions are generous and the ingredients are high quality. That said, I’ve consistently had trouble with the sandwiches falling apart while eating them. I’m not sure if it’s the bread or the way they’re assembled, but something isn’t quite working. It’s frustrating because everything else about the food is appealing. I still appreciate the value and quality, but the structural issue with the sandwiches is the main reason I don’t visit as often as I’d like.

I have lived in Carroll County all my life and this was my FIRST visit to Big Belly Deli. I absolutely lived it! We went for lunch and their portions are SO big, we ate our leftovers for dinner. I give them five outta five yums!

The food and donuts were delicious. We didn’t realize that each donut whether specialty or plain were all just $2.59 each but thankfully they were absolutely delicious and the breakfast sandwiches were HUGE(those were a good bargain for the cost).

Drove 30 minutes away because I heard nothing but good things about this place but was highly disappointed with the sandwich and cheesecake. There was way too much egg on the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Additionally, it was pretty salty. The cheesecake had a bunch of strawberry Gel and whip cream on top. I was aware of that before purchasing. I seen it in the fridge and decided to purchase but take off the topping to try the cheesecake itself. The cheesecake itself was ok. I’d give it 4/10. Lastly the donuts. The donuts were phenomenal!! I got two sprinkle donuts and they were very fresh and tasty. I’d like to give this place another chance with the food, so I’ll try again, maybe for lunch sandwich since donuts were so great.

I’ve heard nothing but great things about this deli. It is attached to a gas station, which makes it harder to see from the road. The donuts were really good. There were many donuts to choose from and the prices were reasonable. I’ve heard the sandwiches are also really good and plan on coming back for lunch sometime to try. There is a small area when you walk in to grab donuts as self serve or you can order sandwiches at the counter. There was a dining area attached, but it was closed while we were there. Unsure if it is closed during the morning hours or if it was closed for another reason.

The biggest sandwich’s I’ve ever seen. Been a loyal BBD customer my whole life. Pictured is the BLT in rye. Crisp bacon, marble rye bread is incredible. Other favorites breakfast sandwiches all of them and the Ruben is a top tier sandwich. Onion rings are also my go to side. Overall not a bad item on the menu and will give you food for 4 days

Wow, what a surprise the food here. I have a friend who is always ranting to me about how good the food and finally I stopped and checked it out. The food was great, the sandwiches are huge. The donuts are excellent. This is a small little restaurant next to gas station, so don’t be expecting full service dining. They have an area to sit and enjoy your meal. I will be definitely visiting more often now.
