Came here for happy hour, and it did not disappoint. The food is pretty good and definitely a great deal. It does get very busy so a table might be tight inside but lots of nice seating and outside. Service is very fast and it has good energy overall.

Wine was tasty. Unfortunately I don’t know if it was just our table but we waited 40minutes for someone to come after our drink order. At that point we went to the front and asked for our check. Leaving our table to ask for the check and seeing an empty patio is disheartening, as I can understand a delay service in a packed place. It’s clear the clientele they catered to, and it wasn’t on their list. Silver lake is definitely not for 1990s locals anymore.

Got the Isn’t It Romantic N/A drink. It was delish with a little kick. You can’t beat the semi outdoor vibe and the occasional nice breeze. Stay long enough, and you might just end up with a random slice of cake as the bakery it’s attached to closes up shop. It wasn’t loud either.

You must order in line or online but the food it’s wonderful with generous proportions and wonderfully fresh and delicious. Ambiance is fantastic and great happy hour options. Forgot photos but guac and chips and blackened salmon tacos were amazing.

Man, I almost hate to give this place away. It’s not just the indoor / outdoor feel, or the quality of the food at The Alcove next door but the level bartending that really stands out. These people are really into making cocktails. They’ve also all been really nice to talk to. This is quickly becoming my favorite place to drink in LA.

This place has the most personable, nicest, most dedicated bartenders ever. And outdoor seating! And an adjacent cafe with full breakfast/lunch/dinner/desserts menu! And a 5-hour happy hour! This place is a gem, and as they say, I almost don’t want to give it away, but this place should be appreciated by many more people.
