Went to check out Big Bad Wolf BBQ and Brew for lunch today and loved it! Really enjoyed my pulled chicken sandwich. Turkey was phenomenal and absolutely delicious. Ribs were great as well. Did not personally try the pork or brisket but all plates were cleared by the end and we all enjoyed. Was not sure what to expect with the cream corn pudding dessert but it was certainly a pleasant surprise and was very light and airy. Took a banana pudding to-go and pretty much ate it as soon as I got back home because I couldn’t resist (didn’t get a picture sadly) and it was sooo delicious. Seemed to have a hint of caramel in it somewhere which I really liked.

The fries were delicious and were similar to 5 Guys fries. Interior of the restaurant had a cool vibe.

Definitely will go back and would encourage others to try! It’s right next to Brass Tap in Waterford Lakes town center and would be awesome for a dinner and drink date night

Had an overall positive experience here. Went for a quick lunch with a friend from out of state. We got the pull pork sandwhich. The food was good, however the bread was a bit steal and had a lot of butter or oil on the exterior we both found a bit much. The sauces are delious though and meat was also great. We both commented about how great looking the location was theme wise. Service was good however they forgot my buddies mac and cheese for a while then finally brought it over. He did say it was really fresh though and hot still. The team were very kind and polite. Overall as mentioned, solid time and will try some other food choices next time.

Our first time here.. wasn’t a home run, but pretty darn good.. Tasty enough that we will come back to try other items on the menu. The nachos were good, but the Thai chili sauce didn’t really work. The fries were outstanding, so will definitely try the loaded fries in the future. The baked beans were ok. The pulled pork was good. A little too “wet” for our preferences but the meat was good. We like a little more dry and then add the BBQ sauce. Cornbread was very tasty. Tried the wolf red beer, that was good and will be repeated. The BBQ sauce is definitely sweet (even the hot was sweet). i didn’t see any other options,so if you don’t like sweet BBQ sauce, you may not enjoy as much. Didnt order the sausage, but that is #1 on our next to try list. Already looking forward to the next visit

Excellent new dining option at Waterford Lakes, replacing the former Slapfish at “The Porch” right next to The Brass Tap. Fast and friendly service with great food and generous portions. Their freshly-baked cornbread muffins are delicious – I ended up getting a couple more for dessert! The two-meat platter is a great way to get a sample of the meat and side options available. My favorites are the pulled pork, brisket, and burnt ends. The Loaded Wolf Fries are listed as a “starter,” but the portion is large enough that it can work as a meal (just think of it as a BBQ pulled pork poutine plate). The “corn pudding” (actually more like bread pudding – with cornbread!) is delicious and I can see stopping by for just that and some iced tea for a snack sometime. In addition to the indoor seating, there’s plenty of space in the adjoining covered outdoor dining area. Overall, a great spot. We will definitely be back soon to try out more of their options!

We have this place a try while shopping in the Waterford Lakes Plaza. The food was really good. Unfortunately, they just ran out of Brisket, however, they still had burnt ends. They were very good, extremely tender for being burnt ends. The Mac and cheese was amazing and the baked beans were also good. The only complaint is it seemed their hot table isn’t keeping the food as hot as it should. The Mac and cheese was not as hot as I expected it would be. The owner is very friendly and kind. Highly recommend giving this place a shot.

Great service, had the pick 2 and got bbq and brisket with baked beans and Mac and cheese as sides and the meal itself comes with a corn bread muffin. Whole meal tasted great and came out quick. For dessert I had Lena’s cornbread pudding, very tasty and sweet. Overall a great experience, would definitely come back again!

The pork was excellent but everything else was pretty meh. We didn’t finish the Mac and cheese, tasted like pepper and no cheese with way over cooked noodles. The potato salad had good flavor but the potatoes were still a little raw. I didn’t care for their bbq sauce, tasted very sugary.

The staff was friendly. We ordered the 2 meat platters, one was brisket and chicken, the other was brisket and pork. The order came out very quickly, and the meats were very good. The sides were decent. we had the coleslaw, mac & cheese, and beans. the coleslaw flavoring was a bit weak, but the cabbage/carrots/etc were fresh and crisp. The mac and cheese and beans were both good. Their cornbread was absolutely amazing- some of the best cornbread i’ve had in years. I wish they had more choices for sauces. Their options were sweet or hot. I do not like sweet bbq sauce so i didn’t try it. Their hot bbq sauce had no heat to it at all. a few more choices for sauces would make it much better.

Terrible service. Portions are wildly inconsistent. Mac and cheese had no cheese or seasoning on it. Cornbread pudding was in the container sideways with some nefarious liquid in the bottom. When I called to complain about my order the manager Maria literally argued with me and called me a liar saying she “stood by her food.” Absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. 0/10

My friend had recommended this place and I finally got to try it. I ordered the brisket and I really enjoyed it. I thought the sides were good too and I thought the $1.99 cost per side was refreshing. I tried the macaroni and cheese and the baked beans, which were both great! The owner was really nice and was very personable. I also met a couple there that was visiting from Texas and we had a conversation about their favorite places in TX for BBQ and how we both enjoyed the food here. I am excited to go back and probably try the ribs next time. I am thankful to have another BBQ option in town that is doing it right!
