I’ve been going to The Big Apple since 1988. I have to say, I preferred the Puryear location, but times change. I still love the bean roll, but I have noticed how skimpy they are now with the chips… really? Kind of pathetic. I’ve never had a problem there. People all over are not as polite or friendly as they used to be, and The Big Apple has not escaped this. Their staff could use some manners. Oh the whole, I still think it’s one of the best places to eat, and meet up with friends. I enjoy the atmosphere. The people who frequent the place are normally cool.

Easy access. Large selections of beer and drinks. Atmosphere was great. I had the double cheese burger dressed american and peper jack cheese with fries, it was delicious! Prices are fair. Dine it. Crowd was reasonable. With a mix of various ages.

Murray Classic !!!! Food 4/5 atmosphere 4.3/5 Price 5/5 … I have had some great times here with my family. I do not know if Nolan still works there but he was an amazing manger and employee. The one thing that is awful ( I do not know this person works there now btw) is the bouncing staff.. One of the bouncers would drink peoples drink off there table and hook up in the bathroom with girls, on top of other illegal actions . That really put a sour taste in my mouth. Staff would be 4.7/5 but the security staff takes it to a -10/5 in my long experience. That being said I have not been back since that and assume Mr. N is gone surely !

The Big Apple Cafe is a staple in Murray, KY! Wether you are wanting to hear some live music, find a patio to play corn hole on, hit the bar scene with the locals, or just want to eat some good food, The Apple has it all! Chicken or Beef small bean roll or the fried chicken salad for me please!! The staff are always on top of it!

The food and drinks are amazing. Awesome and caring staff. The bartenders don’t over pour drinks and cut people off when needed. If customers are intoxicated they go as far as paying for cabs home. Would highly recommend The Big Apple. Plus they have karaoke every Tuesday night.
