Great place for bagels and unique drinks. Try a smoothie or a Uni Uni Boba. Don’t forget to grab some mini muffins while you are there. They have a variety of breakfast or lunch sandwiches with a bagel. If you’re not a bagel fan, sandwiches can also be put on white or wheat bread. Nice eating area to dine in or get it to go. Restrooms were clean and well maintained. Big Apple Bagels is located in a strip mall with other great eateries nearby.

I’ve had some great bagels at Jewish delis but this place should not call itself a bagel shop. The bagels were horrible. I could only find traces of raisins in my cinnamon raisin bagel. If you’re going there for bagels don’t bother you can buy garbage like that at the grocery store.

This place is a hit or miss if they will get your order correct and if the food will be good. And by hit or miss I mean mainly miss. Most of the time the bagel are burnt and then if you want the bagel toasted they don’t listen or they toast it which will burn the bagel even more than it already is. The cream cheese situation is almost as bad. Some days you barely get any cream cheese on the bagel and when you do, on the off chance, get a good serving of cream cheese the chunks of veggie or onions in it are so big it makes it hard to eat.
Used to be a great place. Now I would rather drive to Appleton for a different bagel shop than eat here.

The breakfast BLT on the cheddar bacon bagel(OMG YUMMM) works every time. The mini muffs are just the right size and there are so many great flavors to choose from like chocolate or cherry cheesecake, lemon poppy, & cinnamon crumb cake. I’ve ordered takeout for 13 people from here and everything we ordered looked/tasted fresh.

The food is fairly good, but for the price I would expect a little more. The combo isn’t worth it in my opinion (was also a different price than on the board), but the bagels are very good on their own!

This is the second time they have forgotten cheese on my sandwich. I doubled check the menu this time before writing this review and it should have cheese on it. Even though the place was empty, it felt rushed. Take your time and do it right please and thank you.

I would have preferred to give 0 stars but that is clearly not an option. My husband and I went into Big Apple Bagels on a Sunday (around noon). First off, nothing remotely friendly about any of the staff. They were out of Everything bagels, which was odd since it is pretty popular and advertised for both of the sandwiches we ordered so we substituted with sesame bagels. They guy behind the counter called our name and handed a bag to my husband -we were eating there and seated at a table but he never bothered to ask if it was for there or to go and couldn’t be inconvenienced to walk the six feet over to us . Upon unwrapping the sandwiches, it clear they were not fresh. The bagels were so hard and dry, biting into the sandwich. They also are advertised as coming with a pickle spear which neither sandwich had. The cream cheese had practically no evidence of being onion and chive (one small piece of what I presume was chive). Furthermore, $2.99 for old, not hot or fresh carafe coffee is ridiculous. It was clearly sitting there since they opened. Apart from that, of the 3 or 4 males working behind the counter, one was drinking a shake or smoothie while handling food & cleaning…one other person had a necklace hang out of his shirt while he bent over food. The female smoothie employee had very long dark hair just hanging out, never tied back & no hairnet while she was preparing drinks. She also made several trips back and forth past the bagels and food prep area with her hair out (not health code observant). Apart from the wild hair, she had a constant look of either anger or severe recent trauma. Not exactly customer service friendly. After paying more than $25 for 2 stale bagel sandwiches with low quality deli meat, old barely warm coffee and rude customer service, we were charged another $25 after we requested a receipt. Of the 4 or 5 employees, no one bothered to come out and clean tables and at one point all of them went in the back together with no one at the front counter. No one smiled, or acted friendly – to anyone. At the end of closing, they collected all of the bagels with their bare hands onto metal trays and carts….for the next day maybe?? If this is the best we can expect from this establishment they should close. Very disappointing and a waste of time and money. Just another food place that has no idea how to hire employees.

I went and bought a muffin and the whole bottom was covered in mold when I called to tell them the only thing they said was “well do you want a new muffin” no I don’t want a new one while this one was covered in mold I want a refund. I want you to make sure your product isn’t like this and being sold like this. I have a brand new newborn at home absolute health hazard
