We drove over this evening from Bay Minette, AL. Got stuck in. I-10 5’clock traffic trying to get that seafood. It was so worth it. DELICIOUS to the last bite! The added bonus was the turkey necks and fried pork skins. #Happy

I’ve tried not to write this review until I gave the owners time to rectify the situation. However, after the original and the remake, I am still left unsatisfied. The salad on the left is the advertised salad. The salad at the top is the first salad I received and the bottom pic to show more detail on what my salad lacked. The last pic is of the replacement salad. The crab cake is burnt, dry and was full of stuffing. Not crab. The pieces of crab that were in the salad were dry, few and far in between. The original cake wasn’t nearly as bad as this one despite it’s looks. I also received sliced American cheese and not shredded cheddar I still left undesirable to return.

Very friendly staff. The food was not only made with love but you could taste the soul! Extremely clean bathrooms, and that’s always a plus. Can’t wait till the next time we go. I took a menu so I can call in “to go” orders. Only thing is they were out of crab clusters, but everything is was good so not enough in my opinion to knock off a star.

They offer a breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sundays for about $9. I suggest you call to verify. They are clean and service was nice. The salad was crisp. I thought their red beans and rice looked great but for me it was on the sweet side. The batter on the fried shrimp was light and crispy.

I am from out of town and this place offered a great selection of seafood. I ordered the Big Al’s plater, turkey necks, gumbo, and red beans and rice. The crab legs weren’t “jumbo”, but they were a decent size with an amazing flavor. The shrimp were delicious. The turkey necks YUM. The gumbo was okay, the red beans and rice were better. The service was wonderful! Those ladies know what customer service is about. They went out of their way to accommodate my party, and that made the dining experience even better!! I will be back!

My Mom and I loved Big Al’s Crabs! My Mom asked me where in Pensacola could she get good crab legs. I knew a few places, but I Googled it and Big Al’s Crabs popped up. I read the reviews and we went. It is located on V St. off of Cervantes. It is located down a block or two on the right. Inside was decorated nicely and the server was soooooo friendly and helpful with our questions about the items. We will definitely go there again! Mom had the 4 Jumbo crab cluster entree and I had the 10 Jumbo Shrimp with potatoes and sweet corn. The buttery seasoning was delicious. My Mom usually dips the crab legs in butter, but she loved the way they tasted without extra butter.

Just left Big Al’s with a large order. The customer service is awesome!! The ladies at the front and in the back kept me updated on the order. One of ladies actually walked my food to the car and ensured that my order was correct and the food was Delicious!! Definitely worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back. If i could give this place ten stars i would. They also had a live DJ and the art on the walls are beautiful.

We ate at Big Al’s for the first time today. The service was great. We order the crab platter with potatoes. The flavor of the crabs were the best I have had in a long long time. Nice atmosphere. If you’re having a craving for crabs, we recommend Big Al’s.

Excellent food in a laid back atmosphere. Their seasoning is fantastic and a closely guarded secret! Expect to spend at least an hour there because they are still expanding the kitchen. On the flip side, they make certain your food is perfect before serving!

The setting was wonderful, the food was amazing, and the staff and owner are very friendly. The owner came out to greet us. Everything was awesome! The food, oh my goodness, crab legs, shrimps, potatoes, corn, egg, sausage, and seafood loaded potatoes- perfect.
