Wow… Simply wow… Great service first start off with and very helpful for a first time. I had to go with tots with pulled pork and the brisket sandwich. Did not disappoint and to top it off with local IPA options. Outside seating is what I went for with weather being perfect for it. Good for kids and adults with a fire pit and sandbox. This is a must stop if you are in Ann Arbor and love BBQ. Great unique experience and worth every dollar spent!!

What a great place, really cool laid back vibe Friendly excellent fast service. Outstanding food, we tried two different brat flavors, and shared an order of onion rings, really good. They have a toppings bar so you can serve yourself as much or many toppings as you want. I tried two beers the lager and the kolsch, both were really good. I’ll definitely be back to try a few more beers and eat! Overall Outstanding experience.

First time here…. As guy from St. Louis (we know BBQ) this place is great! Backwoods Tots with brisket is the bomb! Classic Brat was tasty and the fries had just the right amount of Crispy!

Neat place. Lots of outdoor seating if the weather is good, limited indoor capacity. Counter ordering self-serve model here. Decent draft beer selection of their in-house offerings. Lots of condiments and setups available for dining.
Food was good with some interesting special choices. Most items are on the pricey side, but it appears they make a lot of items in house and the quality is good overall.
The brat, smoked sausage, hot dog, tater tots, onion rings, pretzel, chili, coleslaw, and pulled pork sandwich were all good. The elk jalapeno cheddar sausage special was outstanding.

This place has always been outstanding. A little pricey, but outstanding! I’m bummed that they stopped brewing their own beer, but they want to focus on the sausage. Highly recommend. Happy New Year.

Co-worker recommended to stop by so I tried it. Great small spot with Friendly staff and great service. I got the brisket sandwich and the bacon wrapped maple Brat. The Sandwich if you’re hungry is a great choice because the portion is huge but I had soggy buns and it felt more like pulled pork which im not a big fan of. I didn’t really care for the Brat because it was dry and couldn’t really taste the flavor I was expecting. Will try and give it another chance but didn’t feel the flavors were hitting for me. The tatter tots were really great and fresh.

This is a super cool and fun place to have some amazing barbecue. There are so many great choices on the menu it can be tough to decide but the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff can walk you through all the different options. I had the backwoods tots basket with 12 hour smoked beef brisket and it was hands down the best brisket I have ever had. Two people could easily split it. The atmosphere of this place is really neat with the outdoor setting. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be visiting again.

Delicious! They had lots of outdoor seating so we were able to order and then go enjoy the weather. They had amazing sauces and a full toppings bar. The green chili queso brat is a must get. They have milkshakes and beer as well.

Adorable counter service stop. The menu is a rotating choice of available sausages, smoked sausages and brats along with a small handful of standards. I had the curry kielbasa, which was outstanding. Onion rings which were crisp and tasty and potato salad. A few reviews complained about the price, while it was pricey, you are paying for Quality! Their condiment bar was also great, fresh and clean. Outdoor patio area with Plenty of seating, and even indoor seating in the house next door. In addition, they have a little grocery for fresh meats and more. I will be returning to this spot for sure.
