This was amazing. Not only was the food perfectly made, we got a wonderful waitress, Diana, that made it even better. The Tomahawk steak was probably one of the best that I’ve had and the lobster was simply on point. Diana went over the different wine options and it didn’t disappoint. All I can say is, 5 stars ⭐️ all the way. I definitely recommend this restaurant and Diana for the extraordinary service!

What a place! Beautiful views, excellent food and drink. The prices are high but the quality matches the prices and the service is good, so I love going there. This week our table shared several appetizers – beef carpaccio, seared tuna and frites – and all were delicious. I had the lamb shank entree and it was so big I thought I’d be taking a big part home but it was so good I ate it all! I really didn’t need the pomegranate cheesecake for dessert but I am really glad I had it, so light and creamy. My only question about the place is why wasn’t it full on a Thursday? I hope it is there for years to come, I can’t wait to go back.

I can never say enough about bien shur!! Although I limit my self to coming a few times throughout the year.. I have yet to be disappointed..Lucky the menu changes (seasonally I think), you will always find something amazing and new to enjoy.. The countless different steaks ive had here are top tier, Amongst many other dishes they create .. the one thing I love besides the view when eating dinner is ghe fact that the chef incorporates local cuisine into the dishes. From using chile in the recipes to also using locally sourced vegetables and meats.. highly recommend to anyone looking for a more upscale setting…

Another fantastic experience at Bien Shur. My husband went knowing exactly what he wanted. He really did not want to listen to the specials and addons, but so glad he did. The last thing mentioned was a 36oz ribeye tomahawk with lobster for him and shrimp for me, that also came with roast potatoes and asparagus. Included in the special price was a desert to share. Everything tasted amazing. The shrimp were a little messy and hard to peel, and I had to go wash my hands before digging in to the meal fully, but that was a minor inconvenience and it was worth it. I did start with the duck leg confit, not included.

Brian, our waiter, was wonderful and took great care of us. He was full of great energy and helped make our night.

I love sitting by the fire here in the winter.

When I need a fine dining place to celebrate a special occasion, Bien Shur is always one of my go-to spots. The beautiful picturesque views definitely make it unique compared to other restaurants in town. But the food is definitely the best part. Chef Sean Staggs is one of the best chefs in town and I love the menu he’s put together.

What I tried –
Orange Blossom – Monkey 47 Gin, Ramazotti ‘Rosato’ Aparitivo, orange blossom water, lemongrass syrup, fresh lemon juice

Bread Basket – Green chile cheddar roll, roasted garlic sourdough, red chile sourdough, dark cherry seeded sourdough

Beef Carpaccio – Prime Iowa filet mignon, crispy capers, pickled mustard seeds, arugula, crostini, Parmesan cheese

Beef Wellington (special of the night) – Beef tenderloin layered with duxelles and wrapped in pastry and served with roasted carrots and a mushroom demi glace

Pear Dessert (special of the night) – Vanilla and orange white poached pear, stuffed with vanilla diplomat cream, piñon corn bread, and blood orange coulis

This is a world class dining experience, and you can taste the effort that goes into everything prepared here. Bien Shur is sophisticated and indulgent. The wine list is briefer than most fine dining establishments, but it’s curated in a way that it doesn’t matter much. The beef carpaccio was some of the best I’ve had in a long time, the duck leg rilette was also another perfect way to ease into dinner. As for the main course, you should really have a steak. Grilled nicely and seasoned just right, and those sides are full of flavor. Ended with lime mousse over pistachio sponge cake, was so refreshing and light and overall a satisfying end to the whole experience. From Kim’s warm welcome at the beginning of my meal to the bar staff’s attentiveness, I had the best time.

I’ve eaten there maybe 10 times. It’s always been great, until Tuesday, 12-23-25. I had the chicken, I knew i should have had the bison lasagna. Because, by 3 AM, my stomach was in serious pain. Wife had the sea bass, and asparagus. We both had the carrot and arugula salad. $ 200.00 meal with tip. Beware of the chicken. I’m hoping it was just a refrigeration problem. The wife had no problems.

Tried this restaurant when at the Sandia Casino and Resort. It is their nicest restaurant and most expensive.

It is located on the top floor and has excellent views of the surrounding area. Through huge windows. The restaurant itself is fairly large with a bar and dining area.

The menu is small but has a lot of good choices and there is something for everyone. They provided 4 delicious breads with butter, my favorite being the chilli bread.

To start,we had the french onion soup and the carpaccio. The onion soup was very sweet and tastt with a lot of onion. It contained 2 pieces of bread which absorbed the soup that was good. They probably could’ve had a bit more cheese in it. The carpaccio thought was so good and very pretty when it came out. Very tasty and even had the salad which was great.

I got the filet which was pretty pricey but came with a lot of food and was a uniformly cooked and super tender steak with great flavor. It had a bunch of veggies as well as mashed potatoes which were creamy and good.

To end the meal, we didn’t order dessert but were provided 3 freshly made truffles that were all delicious. I really enjoyed the white chocolate berry one.

Overall this meal was good for what you pay and all items tasted great. The staff were king and friendly and always around. I highly recommend this place if you are on a nice trip or win it big at the casino downstairs!

Took my wife for our 14th wedding anniversary and was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding experience we had… Chef Dennis has brought his imagination to life on every plate that came out! Creativity and execution come together beautifully here, we both had the prime Iowa filets and the presentation and temperature were perfect, we cannot wait to come back and try everything else on the menu! The staff truly made us feel welcome and ensured we had a memorable evening! Well done all around
