I love this Vietnamese seafood restaurant. I tried today with my parents. They really enjoyed the baked catfish, Chilean bass hotpot, razor clams and so much more. The restaurant is really cute with a beach/ocean theme decor. The staff is so friendly. Prices here are so reasonable and portions are good. Definitely would come back!

Amazing food at fantastic prices along with very good service. One of my favorite seafood restaurants in southern Cali.

Menu Highlights: Mango squid salad, seasoned grilled squid, fried onion catfish to wrap with vermicelli/lettuce/mint, and chicken wings (for the kids). They’re all very tasty and delicious. You’ll have to wait for at least 30-50min for the fish item since it’s very popular. The other items came out pretty quickly. Prices are reasonable and parking is relatively easy to find. Their service is alright. I recommend getting here before 5:30pm especially during the weekend.

Food came out quick was served fresh. The place was kept clean. Service wasn’t that great cause they didn’t come check on us to see if we need anything else. We ordered a lot of food. We waited for our catfish to come out but never did and when we were done eating, they told us they didn’t bring the catfish out cause we had no space on our table but we would have made room for it. They made us buy it and they packed it for us. We wanted to enjoy all the food together cause that’s the point of ordering what we wanted to eat or wanted to try.

The rating is about accurate. The food is good. Crispy fish was a little fishy for me. But their fish sauce was good to go with the fish. Price is reasonable.

I ordered 3 dishes- grill squid was chewy like over cook , big snail was good , Oc len in coconut milk, the milk so thick and salty and the Oc len was difficult to eat , hardly to sucking out .

Extensive menu with a variety of Vietnamese tapas style dishes. >The steam goat meat had a nice aroma (without much of the strong goat odor) n tender.
>The grilled frog leg was well seasoned n had a nice bounce to the meat.
>The eel dish did not have any distinct directions
>The beers rounds out all the dishes

Authentic flavors from Vietnam! The best cat fish in L.A.
The servers were very attentive, and dishes served quickly. Everything was a delight to taste. I recommend those with adventurous taste palettes try the seafood snails and steamed clams with lemongrass. Thank you for the wonderful service and delicious food.

My friends and I decided to try Biển Hẹn Seafood & Lẩu after one of them recommended it — and it turned out to be a truly unique experience!
I was especially excited to try the fish with rice paper rolls, something completely new to me. It was my first time ever trying fish this way, and I have to say, it was surprisingly enjoyable.
We ordered a variety of dishes, but my favorite had to be the grilled razor clams — they were absolutely delicious. The flavors here are definitely an acquired taste, but if you’re up for trying something different, it’s worth it.
The food came out quickly, and the staff were friendly and attentive. While there was a bit of a wait to be seated, the overall experience was great.
Best of all, the prices were very affordable! Definitely worth a visit.

we went early in the day (before noon) so no wait. the fried fish was good and better than fermented fish hot pot (lẩu mắm và rau) which is a little on the salty side – all the seafood are fresh though to their credit. service is great, our waiter are friendly & attentive. atmosphere is ok, typical hot pot place, a little tight when it gets crowded. overall a good meal & good place to spend time with friends + family.
