We had a fantastic dinner at Bidwell. Their charcoal-dough pizza was the standout — delightfully crisp with a deep, smoky flavor. Both the vegetarian and meat options were excellent, thoughtfully prepared, and generously topped. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed evening with friends. Highly recommend if you’re looking for creative, delicious pizza in the area.

Waitress came over. A little sassy and sarcastic. Somewhat off putting but I’m thinking maybe she’ll make up for it with good service. Nope. Waited 20 mins for our sodas. Place is pizza forward so figure we will order some pizzas. My daughter orders a burger. Pizzas were disgusting. The burger arrived 10 mins after the pizza. No apology. The burger was a plain patty on regular bread (Eddie Murphy, we have McDonald’s at home vibes). Waitress was MIA the rest of the meal. No refills. Actually became a game where we wanted to see how long it would take her to bring our check. It took 40 mins after we finished. Terrible experience. I left a $5 tip on a $70 bill. She didnt deserve it.

This place is just the cutest. A gem sitting right. Y union market it’s just too conveniently located. They have an oyster happy hour where oysters are 1.25 if you by by the doze and 1.75 if you don’t buy by the dozen between like 4-630p. Their wood oven grill makes all the pizza slap. Loove it when it’s fresh and you gotta try the charcoal crust!
The oysters are fresh and so is the calamari. A drink with gin and matcha? First place in the city to see do this and I’m equally in love every single time.
I’ve always had pleasurable service here and the location couldn’t be more pristine!
Perfect for all occasions and had indoor and outdoor seating. Casual ambiance. Great place

I am surprised to see the lower Google rating because I thought this place was fantastic! We came in late afternoon for the Happy Hour bites and Stef was an amazing server! He gave us his recommendations, and we went with all of them. The deviled eggs – these weren’t really unique but just very well done, and I love deviled eggs as a starter. The bean dip – of everything we ordered, this was the only thing we would skip the next time, not because it wasn’t good, but I’d rather save room for the other menu items. The bean dip had a lovely goat cheese sprinkled on top and was served with pita triangles. The tomato halves that came with it were SO GOOD, likely because they came from the organic hydroponics garden on their rooftop. The french fries – served with a peppery ketchup, the fries were lightly salted and tasted really good! Our favorite, the White Pizza – I’m still thinking about this pizza days later! I loved all of the cheese choices used and the crust had a great chew to it. Very well done, and I wish I would’ve ordered my own instead of shared! We each tried the kale chip nacho bite – a perfect bite of buttery tuna, guacamole, spicy mayo and crispy kale! For dessert, the butterscotch pudding – this reminded me of a better tasting nostalgic trip back to my childhood. The menu says chocolate shavings, which I originally didn’t think would be good mixed with my pudding, but they are so finely shaved you don’t even taste them. Overall, great service and amazing food! Will be back! Thanks, Stef!

We had the burger, the fish tacos in the fried chicken. Everything was phenomenal. The sauces that came with the dinners were very flavorful

The food was – not good. I ordered the NY strip steak medium rare and it came out well done- this poor piece of meat was destroyed. The fat was left tough and the whole steak was just a tough chewy mess.
The bernaise sauce was inedible and foamy?!
The fries and calamari were ok but did not redeem how bad the steak was.

The service, however, was great. Our server was lively.

Updating to 3 stars because the service and food haven’t been as good the last 3 times I went…

This is one of my new fav places, although it is inconsistent with drinks, the food is AMAZING! I LOVEEEEE their pizza! Salad is good too! Amazing option for a sit down spot in union market!
Pros: the pizza is always AMAZING and solid service – I’ve never had to wait to get a table. REALLY yummy/fun drinks! I loved the crush on you and the matcha one was also tasty!
Cons: the drinks are inconsistent (crush on you tasted like an orange creamsicle in a cute glass one time and like a screwdriver in a normal glass another time) and you can only get happy hour at the bar, not at your table (and the bar gets very very busy/crowded). You can’t order drinks at the bar if you want to sit down at a table…pretty annoying/silly.

Food is creative and delicious, plus the presentation is great, the chef seems to really care about the overall delivery. Staff were very friendly & helpful from hostess to wait staff to bus staff. The prices were pretty good given the location and quality, a touch high but in line with what you might expect. The fried oysters (photo included) were amazing, and the bright green pea soup was so fresh tasting it was stunning. Cocktails were also unique and yummy. Definitely recommend and we’ll go back for sure. Plus the Union Market seems like a great place to be.

We enjoyed our brunch here on a Sunday. Their options were varied so we could each get lunch or brunch. The food was well proportioned and everyone enjoyed. The fries were a bit cold.

They had clearly labeled gluten free options.

We would visit again but not as a priority.

Great atmosphere. Food was good but just not filling. Most dishes are pretty small. Service was great. We sat at the bar and had good drinks, 12 fresh oysters and a lobster roll.
