I’ve been going to this restaurant for years and I am pleased that they have remained in business, especially during the tough times of the Covid pandemic.

These folks serve up some good vittles in the turf-turo style, fresh hot meals on the spot with ample selection. And their selection includes a lot of the mainstream Filipino dishes that is sure to satisfy whatever you’re hankering.

They have stiff competition from other chain restaurants next door, but I favor these guys because I know it’s a small independent business vs. those with a much larger footprint. I have always had a softer spot in my heart for the mom-n-pop category.

I can also testify that their servings are generous, they’re not “kuripot” with their food. I know they’ll be appreciative of your patronage.

Dj’s Filipino restaurant has been in Vallejo for many years located at Seafood city, it used to be inside and it took over the old Max’s of Manila. I like to order lumpia Shanghai from there. You can call and it will be ready in 10-15
Mins or they’ll make it fresh on the spot. They’ve changed ownership over the years but originally it was kampangpangan style Filipino food and it may have changed over the years. They’re pretty solid with their rice plates, pork Sisig, beef steak, menudo and all of their Filipino dishes. It’s definitely bang for your buck and probably more fresh earlier in the day. Service is great and parking is easy. Just make sure to not leave anything valuable in your car and watch out for yours bags while you’re out here if you’re from out of town.

$18 for two sides, rice and a small drink. That is ridiculous! Rice cost pennies! This is not a retro cafe in San Francisco. I would rather cook my own Filipino food than burn almost $20 on one meal. I can feed my whole family for that price. Not going back. That sucks.

Good place to get Gilipino meals at a decent price… good selection of authentic filipino dishes. This is the place I go to if I crave filipino cooked meals

Dj’s hides behind deceptive practices!
It doesn’t let customers know about hidden fees when debit/credit cards are used! And employees don’t even know what you’re talking about when you question them.
Restroom facilities are disgusting, so it makes you wonder what the kitchen practices are like!
Never would I recommend this to anyone!
Don’t waste your time or money here!

We recently bought kambing caldereta as take out and when we taste it at home it’s very salty,it was not like that before.we told it to the guy at restaurant and he said were the only one complained of the too much saltiness of the kambing (goat) It was also a lot of bones of pieces than meat which was not good value for the price,we bought large for take out.i wish the food will improve.i gave a good review before because we like it then.

Food is good, breakfast specials are a great value. The staff is nice, helpful as always. Two reasons my rating isn’t higher; first, many of the bench seats are torn up and it is starting to look really run down. Second, dinner special is good, but often the only things left to eat are pork.

Not the best Filipino food. Very bland. I’ve had better Filipino food back in Fairfield.

Service was kinda cold

The restaurant was kept clean, so no complaints there.

Overall, disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend
