That said, some of the dishes lacked a bit of flavor and seasoning, which kept them from really standing out or being memorable. Nothing was bad by any means, just missing that extra depth or boldness you hope for.
It’s a nice place to try, especially if you’re in the area and looking for something different. With a little more seasoning and flavor balance, it could easily be a standout spot.
I’ve now tried both the Joojeh platter and the kale salad with chicken and each dish honestly deserves a 10/10 rating. The Joojeh platter was absolutely delicious and the chicken was tender and juicy. Every bite felt fresh and satisfying, paired with sides that complemented it so well. It’s a dish that leaves you full but not weighed down, and you can tell the ingredients are high quality.
On another visit, I ordered the kale salad with chicken and I was equally impressed. The salad was light yet filling, with a great balance of textures and flavors. The chicken was cooked perfectly. It’s one of those salads that doesn’t feel like “just a salad” it feels like a full, well-thought-out meal.
What I love most about Bibi is the consistency. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty platter or something lighter like a salad, you know you’re going to get quality food prepared with care. Add in the friendly service and the lively setting, and Bibi easily ranks as one of Atlanta’s must-visit spots. Try it!
I was very disappointed in the way I was treated. Just go to Delbar (main restaurant) if you want good customer service.
My wife and I split two sandwiches, the Lamb Labneh Sandwich and the Beef Koobideh Sandwich. The bread on both was perfection and the meats were well seasoned and tender.
The labneh was delicious and proportioned so that it didn’t overshadow the meat, and the zereshk on the lamb sandwich was the perfect complement.
Had a salad and fries as sides. The fries were as good as any I’ve ever had…nice and peppery, crunchy but soft inside, and sauce that came with them was unreal.
Without a doubt one of the best spots in PCM.
The meat? Grilled to perfection—tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned. Every bite had depth and balance, just the way it should. That alone made the meal feel worthwhile.
But for the price point, I expected more. The rice didn’t quite hold its own—it lacked that rich saffron aroma and flavor I was hoping for. It felt more like a supporting act that never really showed up for the performance.
Overall, Bibi does meat right, no doubt. But if you’re looking for the full Persian experience, especially at these prices, you might walk away feeling like something was missing.
Staff were very friendly and helpful – and patient – as we figured out what we wanted. We waited for just a few minutes as they prepared everything fresh and then took our meal out to eat in the communal dining area.
I started with the azadi cocktail – gin, grapefruit, mint, cardamom and bitters – lovely, light and refreshing and STRONG!
We had the falafel plate as an appetizer which included four perfectly fried falafel patties, and a variety of things to top them – spicy tahini, hummus, sumac onions, pickled beets and more.
For our meal we all got koobideh sandwiches, ground brisket and lamb piled high on rustic bread with braised tomato, labneh, pickles, onions and dill. It was amazing. Juicy, flavorful meats on crusty and soft bread, just the right amount of sauces and veggies – couldn’t have been more pleased! The meals included a large box of well-seasoned fries.
For dessert we tried both the baklava icecream and Persian icecream. Sprinkled with pistachio and even rose petals they were a delightful sweet finish to a wonderful meal.
Thank you for this wonderful i production. To Persian food – now we’ll know to seek it out next time we are hungry!
I was really sad to see people walking past Bimi, because the food was so so good. I would guess that the aesthetics look like it would be more of a dessert bar than a middle eastern fusion. But if you go, please give this place a chance.
Lamb sandwich – the bread tastes like they had just removed it from the oven. The lamb was tender and falling apart, so tasty, had a delicious sauce. Was given the option to get salad or fries and I’m glad we opted for the fries. They were peppery and spiced to perfection. This was served with a tahini based sauce (not sure if it was for the sandwich or fries but all together it was tasty).
Ice creams: we got the Persian pistachio and rose and the baklava. The baklava flavor was the table favorite.
I got both to try so you don’t have to.
The sandwiches were wrapped perfectly. The white powder bread is unique (you’ll have a the white mouth), but I would choose a different bread. It’s tough to chew, and my jaws were tired of chewing after half a sandwich. The beef sausage and potatoes are savory, but I think the sausage could be sliced differently and it will appear more fancy as opposed to the small slices. It was ok. The ingredients would probably taste better in a bowl with crackers or toast. The veggie falafel sandwich with the cabbage was actually more interesting. The flavors popped more surprisingly. I’m not saying I would order this often, I’m saying it was a good surprise.
The hummus was delicious. I thought there was more in the container, but it didn’t have depth, just a surface layer scoop still delicious.
I appreciate a good green side salad. Some places serve you iceberg or something basic. I appreciate their homemade dressing, but it was too pungent with lemon or lime juice. The cucumber salad appeared to have the same dressing already on it, and it wasn’t so pungent mixed in already. I imagine the water from the tomatoes and cucumbers could have condensed it unless they use a little different dressing on that cucumber heirloom salad.
The raisin rice was the star. Amazing. The deal rice was buttery tasty regular in a good way but the raisin rice is the star. Zoug sauce is cilantro tasting & good. I didn’t need the extra bread, but I had to try it. It’s Bread, nothing overly special regarding bread flavor. I was looking for something other than a sandwich and kabobs and for that reason this place gives me lunch vibes. It was my first time trying so even though I would have preferred something different for dinner I had to try it.
