Wow. This was a tik tok find and sometimes they can be hit and miss but this is probably the best Italian food I had in the UK and maybe in the world. We had the pumpkin risotto and papardelle with ragout and it was 10/10. Desserts were amazing. Staff was friendly and we had a great time. We’ll be definitely coming back.

We decided on this place due to many great reviews. The service was incredible, extremely attentive and very informative. The food however, I just didn’t feel very impressed by it, the presentation of the food was good. We paid £140 for our meal, some of which we shared between us as we went for something off of each section of the menu. For my main meal I had the chicken thigh, I just didn’t feel like it was worth it for what was on my plate and the way it tasted. You can tell everyone in the restaurant is very passionate which is lovely and the experience overall was great, just not to my tastes.

Delicious food at all times! Fresh pasta with amazing flavors and textures. Always at least 2 vegetarian options. Of everything I think the dessert is what always mesmerizes me the most (and I’m not a dessert person everywhere)! Always on point, not too sweet, bold flavors. Staff are always friendly and I find the atmosphere super cozy.

We had a truly incredible meal here last weekend. The service was flawless, attentive and thoughtful – they personalised our menus in honour of the birthday, which was an amazing touch. The food was gorgeous, the starters were fresh and light, the pastas were the best I’ve had outside of Italy and I couldn’t fault anything. Highly recommend for a special occasion!

Second time being there. The first time I celebrated my partner’s birthday – food was amazing, services and atmosphere GREAT. This second time – absolutely ALL food as good as last time. Fish was fresh, pasta – omg the texture of the pasta and the well matched sauce Not too oily not too meaty but just right. Pistachio tart came as a surprise – interesting pair. Staff all very nice and attentive and efficient in a good way. We really enjoyed it and can’t wait for a third visit!

– Bruschetta, smoked aubergine puree, ricotta and anchovies ️
– Brixham boat catch of the day – mackerel ️
– Tom had the grigliata mista of porchetta, chicken thigh and beef skirt in a ndjua glaze ️
– the famous tiramisu ️
I’m not sure how much longer the team are running the summer, so try and grab a table to try before we go into autumn

Visited for dinner. The food was excellent and so was the service. Nice décor and cosy atmosphere – cannot fault it. Will be back! ☺️

Overall the food was good but not impressive. Service was great. The scallop charged for £6.5 each was simply too small. The fregola was drenched in butter, the texture was not pleasant but the seafood was fresh. Ravioli of ox cheek was delectable and so was the rack of lamb. The sauces in these two dishes were quite sweet which I was hoping for more variations. The pistachio custard tart was a nice surprise just wish for the price they were charging, the portion could be a tiny bit more.

Discovered a wonderful Italian in Montpellier last night and very happy about it too. Great staff who were happy to natter whilst I was waiting and opine on dish selection. Food was to die for. Aubergine dish, skate wing, pasta and beef shin were all amazing. I will be returning! Great atmosphere too as we were accompanied by a top blues soundtrack for the majority of the evening
