We are spending the weekend at Mission Bay and we did not feel like driving for dinner. The restaurant was just 15 minutes walking distance away from we are staying, and it is definitely the best restaurant within the surrounding area. Having said that, the pizza came out a bit less than ideal. The antichoke and olive made the pizza salty and soggy, but other than that, we had a very good dinning experience.

The outdoor patio is spacious and has heated lamps so you don’t get cold.
The gluten free pizza (margherita) was amazing!
Our service from Brooklyn was exceptional.

We had a wonderful “Date Night” at Bianchi Pizza & Pasta. We are always looking for a great restaurant in our neighborhood and we definitely found one last night. Our server Sophia was great she was attentive, very efficient, with a welcoming sweet disposition. Being a server myself for many years I see myself as a pretty tough customer. The food was so GOOD!! We had meatballs, Cesar salad, and pizza. The whole meal was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Bianchi Pizza & Pasta to anyone looking for very delicious Italian Restaurant.

Unless you’re staying at the Bahia you’ll never know this place is here! We found it accidentally while bike riding and I’m so glad we did! The restaurant is quaint and serves excellent food! The pizza crust is amazing and the ingredients used are top notch! The meatball appetizer was delicious and the warm marinated olives were divine- partly due to the pizza crust/foccacia bread served with it! We had two appetizers and happy hour wine shared a pizza and a desert. We are stuffed and happy about it!

Wouldn’t return. The waitress, Sarah, was kind but not knowledgeable about the food, just smiles and nods, really.
The sauce was broken on my pasta dish and it was SPICY (It could have been the extra red pepper flakes in the sausage but it was just a little too spicy for me).
The flatbread/olive oil pizza (app) was ok, crispy on top but the crust was slightly underdone.
When I arrived there were plenty of tables and they sat me at the 1 table with a dog bowl on the concrete seat. A little rude and gross? Or maybe that’s just me. The only positive I can say is there was plenty of parking and the espresso martini was good.

We had a great experience for dinner! The wood fire pizza is absolutely delicious! We also really enjoyed the pomodoro pasta. Very peaceful restaurant and great service. Andre, our server, was very friendly and helpful and great to talk with. We will be back!

Fantastic service and food. All the staff was friendly and our server Lisa was great, knowable and didn’t rush us. Had Ceasar salad, Pizza and Tiramisu with espresso. Definitely would recommend.

We love the Bianchi’s in Phoenix and expected a similar experience in San Diego but that’s not the case. We had reservations, and upon arrival were asked if we were staying at the hotel, we were not. So the hostess takes us out of the restaurant and seats us in some weird overflow room filled with families and small children. It was awful. She insisted that’s where we would be. We returned and asked to sit at the bar and let her know we would leave if there wasn’t better accommodations. She reluctantly seated us somewhere else. It took 25 mins to get a drink. Our appetizer came out and we didn’t even get a bite into our mouth when our meals arrived. The service was poor. The food was good. We would have stayed and had dessert and beverages but the whole experience was not what we expected from a Bianchi’s restaurant. The bar had 20 dirty cups sitting there the entire time. I let the server know that it wasn’t a great experience. The server did take the drinks off our bill but I don’t think we will return to this location again.

In all my years of diningt out, last might was the best experience ever!!! The food was great. Lisa and her support were the best in providing a great date night out.. I have not had a better tasting pizza nowhere else on Earth. Gianni presented an excellent demonstration in the preparing of our dessert, the terramasu. She demystified how the dessert is made, right before our eyes!!!

This was one of the best Italian food restaurants my wife and I have ever been to. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect, and our server Alex was AMAZING! The service was so good that even our food runner Gianna was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met-seriously! I would come back to this restaurant just for the service I received from Gianna and Alex. Please give them both a raise or a promotion. We need more of these kind, sweet, and attentive people in food service.
