The Grounded Bohemian
Biaggi’s is a chain restaurant in the Midwest and this one was very well-managed. Our waiter was friendly and engaging and made the experience that much better. I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. From the fresh baked bread with olive oil and parmesan cheese, and the ability to get a smaller portion of certain pasta dishes for a lower price was really wonderful.
Definitely a place I would go in the future if I am ever in Middleton again.

I really miss the original location. I have been to 9 other Biaggi locations and this was the weakest. The food was ok. The service was like Denny’s. The atmosphere was weak. I want an Italian fine dining experience. I don’t think I will be in a rush to go back to this location.

Came in at 7:45 to find out that they would be closing at 8, which was how I was greeted. Sat at the bar. Felt very rushed and a bit of an inconvenience. Bartender interacted with me a bit, but wasn’t really engaging and more interested in closing things up. The bartender and what appeared to maybe be the manager were opening discussing other employees and I was able to hear the whole interaction and this happened twice. Food came out good and it was delicious, but made me a bit nervous that the kitchen staff might be a bit miffed with a close to closing time order. In my mind, I have never in all my travels had restaurants that close at 8pm. In my head I made the assumption that most likely it would be open until 9 or 10, like most restaurants and bars I go to, that’s on me to make the assumption. Staff, in general, didn’t give the “happy to see you” or “enjoying my job” vibe at all. I went to the sister restaurant the night before, and they were the polar opposite.

We absolutely loved it here. This is the kind of food I am used to making and you all did a fantastic job. Service was excellent and chefs did a great job. We drove from Eau Claire to me my husband for dinner because he’s a trucker so the kids were a little antsy but it was very accommodating. I will be back if he’s ever in the area again.

Besides a small issue with our order missing an item, the overall experience and food was very good. Our waitress and the manager made things right and we appreciate that. The food highlights: The Rigatoni Bolognese and the Chicken & Wild Rice Soup were delicious. We ordered the lunch Half & Half but still got great serving sizes! The Spaghetti & Meatballs was great as expected. I really enjoyed the Stuffed Mushrooms appetizer. The Italian sausage stuffing was so tasty. We came for lunch and we will be back!

Beautiful restaurant with upscale service. Great wine, selection and exquisite drinks. Very nice menu with options for nearly everyone. I love the bacon wrapped dates , the unique bruschetta selection, the shrimp and risotto, and their lobster and corn chowder. The bread they bring to the table is outstanding. The focaccia is out of this world.

This place was suggested to me by someone who raved highly about the food, so I did come with expectations high. The food was ok but not what I expected. The mushrooms are stuffed with sausage and cheese but its very little if any sausage. I will say the salmon was cooked perfectly and so was the shrimp but fell short on taste. I did love the service, waiter was very attentive and atmosphere was cozy. I would go back and try something else on the menu because I like the environment.

I came in a few weeks ago with my grandchildren for a nice dinner and my experience was amazinng! I was first greeted w an amazing hostess, i remember her becuase of her hijab and her big smile. She was very nice, loved her greeting, and she got me to my table right away! When we were seated we were given bread and I absolutley loved it! It was so crispy but still soft. The food was amazing and very high quailiry, I got the alfredo!

The perfect experience to take the edge off a rough week or three – big foodie here. This became my new favorite restaurant tonight. Amazing food, attentive service and cozy atmosphere. Noise level is a concern for me when trying new places, but the volume was nice here. The room was alive with conversation but I could easily hear my friend sitting next to me.
