It’s one of those times when the food is so good, you forget to make a pic for a review.
Bitter chicken was the best I’ve ever had (and I tried it in India).
The owner was so sweet and helpful, I was struggling with what to choose and she explained everything to me, gave me options based on my tastes and restrictions, was very nice and accomodating.
Portion sized are great, naan is soooo good o would just eat it by itself (usually sauce from the dish helps soften it and make naan interesting, but not in Bhandari!).
I think the place is new and there’s not much done with the interior, but it didn’t change anything in the experience.
Will come again!

This little restaurant makes amazing food, very authentic and perfect spice levels. However, the reason I gave it 4 stars is every take out order I’ve had is always missing an item. My last take out order was missing the naan bread that I paid extra for. Plus the naan option I took for free with a chicken dish. Before that same issue missing a dish. Maybe don’t rush to pack your takeout? Just a suggestion. Oh, and I did not check the bag before leaving here because I ordered delivery each time and the bag always arrives stapled shut, with the driver being gone well before I check the contents of the bag.

My mom and I were visiting a cousin living in town, but didn’t want to intrude and eat there, so we looked for restaurants nearby.
We were really interested when we saw an Indian restaurant with so many glowing reviews in a tiny remote town, so we went there. Arrived shortly before 11h, the opening hour. No cars or activity nearby, but the place looks like a renovated hotel (and not at all like the pictures) so we figured maybe the staff lives there and have their car parked elsewhere. We waited until 11h, still no sign of life and the door is locked. Waited until roughly 11h15 before leaving and eating elsewhere.
When we arrived at our cousin’s place later and told him about it, he said that he’s literally never seen anyone there or knows anyone who has, and that he’s pretty sure the place only exists as a money laundering spot so yeah, nice glowing reviews.

This food is incredibly delicious! ♡ The richness of their spices, the strong creams from their masalas, Korma, Butter Chicken and Jalfraizi is just too good! This was our second time ordering and we loved it as much as the first time. There is no Naan bread compared to the ones we have eaten here, the Garlic Naan bread is a MUST try from them. The onion Bhaji is very tasty too, a little spicy but just enough to enjoy it ♡. Also their vegetable samosas are very packed which makes it way better when taking bites from it. Their Paneer Naan was very good too but Garlic Naan remains as my favorite! We loved the rise Biryani accompanying our meats with Naan, the coriander was very fresh and the rise tasted amazing, very generous with their amounts for the rice bowls too! Our orders from tonight were Butter Chicken (the best there is!) Lamb Masala (It’s strong in flavors, very delicious and a bit spicy which we we’re happily surprised since we do enjoy spicy food, but in case someone is sensible to spicy it might be a plate you would preferably enjoy if shared, cus the taste is worth the try ♡) Shrimp and Chicken Korma (which was the perfect combination, the Korma is a thick creamy flavorful sweet sauce that was the perfect combo to alternate between the Masala and Korma!)
Although I can’t remember what we ordered last time, I know it was all the Thalis and Lamb Jalfraizi with many Naan and Garlic naans too! Absolutely delicious seriously it has become our favorite delivery comfort food we live in Coteau-du-Lac and it has taken about an hour to have it delivered tho but this is not a problem, we simply make our order in advance and wait happily until it arrives! Can’t say more, this place is the best food around and each single plate we’ve ordered so far is a warmth full of taste and flavor sensation ♡

Great food, wonderful staff and owner, somewhat small portions. Bhandari represents Gujurati Indian food meaning some of the dishes have a slight sweet taste (notably the creamier sauces) but the taste is excellent. There are spicy dishes too, the vindaloo being excellent. They do also have some fusion options, such as butter chicken poutine and chicken tikka wraps which are great for a lunch meal. Thalis also available for a great price. The owners are an absolute treat and receive you wonderfully. Delivery is extremely local for the moment, Saint-Lazare may be included in the deliver zone in summer 2023. Ample parking at the restaurant.

Wow! Just wow! The food is put of this wold Everything is so hood, full of flavor. We had the butter chicken, so creamy, the flavor are just perfect, just spicy enough. The shrimps Karma were a very nice surprise. It’s so velvety, soft in flavor and you will want to just eat the sauce on it’s own . The lamb curry was spot on. Spicy like a good curry, the lamb was so tender and all the spices were right . The naan bread is also spectacular, light and yet crispy, and their garlic naan, wow! So much flavor!! The owners are sooooo nice! They make you feel welcome. Honestly the best food I’ve had in years ❤️
