Sitting at the bar, writing this review before my meal is even over. Hands down, the pork belly appetizer is one of the top three things I’ve ever eaten. Full stop. This dish deserves a Michelin star, no exaggeration, no notes.
The winter salad was light yet deeply flavorful: crisp, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. The sea bass was equally impressive. Creamy but still delicate, simple yet layered with incredible flavor.
Hospitality? A 20/10. Before we even took our first bite, the warmth and attention alone had already guaranteed we’d be back.
And the cocktails…stunning. A dirty martini and a Manhattan, both executed to absolute perfection.
Run, don’t walk, to dine in this cozy slice of heaven. It’s the kind of place you think about long after the meal is over.

Our family dined at Beyond the Sea last night and everything was absolutely incredible. Ray, our server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and even more personable. It was a pleasure having him as our server. Earl, the manager made it a point to stop by and introduce himself, check in on our dinning experience, and even recommended wine pairings with our entrees we ordered. His suggestions were incredible and even had us try things we would never think would pair well together- but his knowledge on food pairings was unparalleled. The atmosphere , staff, and food were all top notch. We will definitely be back- thank you for a wonderful night out!

Fantastic dinner. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Food is incredible. Scallops were best Ive had. Sea Bass is very good. Love the apps. Pork Belly is melt in your mouth good. You will spend some money, but well worth it.

For the past 4 years my girlfriends and I have come here numerous nights on our girls weekend to Lake George! Not only do we adore everyone who works there, the food is just absolutely superb! Their bartender Jason is very skilled in making cocktails! I basically tell him a spirit I want and he makes me a delicious drink! The chefs not only prepare divinely tasting food, but their plating is beautiful as well! The owners Dave and Mary have always been so friendly and accommodating of us! They have become the people and the place that we look the most forward to seeing when we come! I it feels like family when we are there! I can’t rave about this place enough!

Drove up here from CT. Was immediately the best time of our trip. The staff was amazing, the food was to die for. The owners came over to talk to us on some good hometown feeling. Deserves 6 stars not 5 . Megan was our server and the service was over the top . Every person we encountered was pleasant beyond words . Owner came to table to thank us . Head Chef visited our table to ask about the meal. Food was amazing . The Chicken Cordon Bleu was better than any that I’ve ever had, bar none . Run, don’t walk to this establishment.

Greeted very warmly by the hostess, and seated in the main dining room. Our server, Matt, plies us with deliciously concocted libations. The food is, seriously, other worldly. Just delicious. The dessert, chocolate cake in our case, is scrumptious. The meal, although very expensive, is worth every cent. Might be my best meal ever (except, of course, for my wife’s…).
I am aware this review may sound like I am related to the owner, but I assure you I am just a retired guy from Brooklyn.

This is a beautiful restaurant and definitely the nicest in Bolton Landing. It’s a great atmosphere – they had a young lady singing live music with a guitar on Thursday night and the place was packed. We sat outside and it was just lovely. Drinks were perfect and well made – I had the Aperol spritz and hubby had an old fashioned. Mine was light, refreshing and balanced. We then ordered a dozen raw oysters – they were tasty and sweet, but small. I had the Chilean sea bass which was served with a lobster risotto kind of thing and a pea sauce. It was cooked very nicely but needed a bit of salt, and it wasn’t as hot as I would have liked – it was even slightly cold in the center. Hubby’s ribeye steak was absolutely perfect, and their homemade steak sauce is sweet and savory and quite yummy. Mashed potatoes and veggies were perfect.
Overall, a very lovely meal, and I would definitely return.

Phenomenal!! Have been coming to LG/BL for a couple decades and have been going to Beyond the Sea every year since they opened. The food is the best in town, and I have been to all of the restaurants, old and new. The service is stellar, attentive, not overbearing, GREAT experience.
The menu is always creative and inviting, usually have trouble deciding what to have because I know it is going to be great no matter what I pick.
This year, it was just as good, if not better, and had to leave a review here. Especially after being unexpectedly disappointed by two other go to spots in town.
