OMG…I have just eaten the best meal I have tasted in forever.. I had Australian grass fed, braised lamb shank and Alan had two Bandera, TX roasted semi boneless quail.
Just perfection..absolute perfection.
Both the server and chef we very friendly and attentive. The chef even came to our table and talked to us a bit. Made us feel so welcome, like we were eating with friends.
Oh, and they have pet friendly seating.
If I had one restaurant to pick to eat at for the next year.. BTB would be my choice hands down.

I very much enjoyed eating at this restaurant and would recommend. The entrée options and menu in general can be challenging, but our waiter was so knowledgeable about the food, and the way it’s prepared, and what it goes well with, it was very easy to make my selections. I ate here on a trip to the lake with some friends. It was a perfect place for a group of well off middle-aged men with adventurous palates. Between the entire group, we must’ve ordered one of everything on the menu and it was all spot on. Don’t get fooled by the lack of exterior aesthetics or the absence of a parking lot. This place is good quality food.

Very unique menu and friendly staff. I had the lobster roll on naan. My husband had the duck cakes with peppery raisin sauce.

Sangria was a glass of warm wine with splash of cinnamon flavor. No ice, no fruit. Entrees were very small and not good. Scallop/Shrimp cakes were small the size of biscuits. They were burned on the bottom. Warm Potato salad had no flavor and the potatoes were not done. Sweet potato’s were cold. Venison sausage was one small link. Lamb shops were tiny and only given two. Maybe the chef was not in last night??? Shame on management. Spent $300 for 4 people and were very disappointed. Wanted to really like this place.

The best meal I’ve had in years, and bonus- it’s very healthy . I love their core mission of eating smart with anti inflammatory foods . Very diff proteins-antelope boar venison quail lamb. Excellent pairings and complex flavors that are amazing . This is NOT a rookie . Non dressy setting but very nice …. and Angela (Chef/Owner) is in no way rude. She’s great . She’s just busy running a restaurant almost solo . So if you come during service, I’m sure she can’t spend alota time with anyone . I wish they had a sign tho, I drove right past it

Always drove by this place, never bothered to stop. Until one day I was doing laundry in a nearby laundromat. Walked in. The owners were sweet, and I found out that they serve lamb! Wow! I am from Saudi Arabia, lamb for us is what we eat on almost daily basis. I tried few of there dishes and I loved it. This reminded me of home. I am so happy to find a place that serves lamb in Central, SC. The owners are a nice older couple from New England.
I was going to get a sandwich and leave to attend to my laundry, but I chose to stay and enjoy a nice conversation with the people there.
I love it and recommend it. I believe people in America should get more into lamb. You should give this place a try. I tried Burger Joint’s lamb sandwich in downtown Clemson, but I prefer this place way more. Besides, you really want to support a local, family-run business.
Oh, and they also have a good selection of beers, just in case that is your thing!

Our second dinner at Beyond the Bull. Loved it the first time, loved it this time as well. Took some friends this time and they loved it as well. We tried a few different small plates and they were all exceptional. Prices were very good considering the quality of the offerings. Wine list is eclectic, with some great reds at reasonable prices. Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. The owner/chef came out to make sure we were happy, which was a nice touch. Reservations are required. Do yourself a favor and checkout BtB, you won’t be sorry!

The reviews were pretty good so we gave it a try!! The restaurant didn’t disappoint. We sat in front of the fire and our waiter was just delightful. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the restaurant cleanliness was worth noting. The seafood cakes were excellent and the warm potato salad exceed my expectations. The salsa and the Louisiana white sauce are worth trying… I thought they were both great and I’m not a salsa or sauce guy!! The Tuna Nicoise was very tasty but I like my tuna a little on the rarer side. I’ll tell the chef next time. On my next trip in I’m going order the lamb. New Zealand is the benchmark for excellent lamb so we will see how Chef Angela does. It’s worth mentioning when the chef comes out of the kitchen to ask how everything was she cares about her customers. This is a special place in Seneca, SC with out a doubt. The food value is fairly priced for the menu offerings Recommend you give it a try. My understanding is they will open for lunch on Fridays in mid January 2017.
