I had the honor of meeting the owner, Dallas, whose passion for great food and hospitality shines through in every detail of this establishment. The food? Absolutely phenomenal! The crab cakes were some of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. And the salmon? Top notch! Every bite was cooked to perfection, making it clear that Beyond Sweet takes pride in delivering high-quality dishes that leave a lasting impression.
Beyond the amazing food, I was blown away by the attention to detail throughout the restaurant. The beautifully decorated bathrooms, the stylish upstairs dining area, and the overall ambiance created a truly elevated dining experience.

This was a pleasant surprise and a very pleasant environment for brunch. I was very happy with the service and the vibe. I love a brunch place that plays music and has a live band. The food was decent. Great portions, I just wished it was a bit more fresh or warmer. It tasted okay but like it had been warmed up in an old microwave. I was visiting from FL so if I were to come back I would ask for everything to be fresh. They brought me out a cute cupcake for my birthday and I got to meet the owner. Very lovely. Check it out if you are in the area. My friend made reservations for us, which I’m glad she did because there was a line after we were seated. I would recommend.

My family and I had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant has an intimate and cozy atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was perfectly seasoned, and you could tell a lot of care went into preparing it. To top it off, the live music added a fantastic touch to the overall ambiance. I’ll definitely be returning in the near future!

I didn’t get a video of the place but it’s very beautiful! I love all the African American decor and all the nods to the people coming out of STL. Our waitress was awesome! Although none of the specialty drinks wanted to cooperate with her lol (one was supposed to be lit on fire and one she spilled) they were still very good. The oysters and seafood dip were good, however I will say the amount of sauce took away from the oyster and you couldn’t even tell the oyster was there. The Chick over C’s was really good although the sauce was extremely sweet and the spice of the dish didn’t balance well but the risotto and chicken was A1. Now to the star of the day! The turkey leg, Mac and cheese, greens, and cornbread LET ME TELL YOU!!!! I give that a 50000/10. Everything was really THAT good! It’s not an everyday menu item but Lord knows I wish it was because I would just get that. Turkey leg fell off the bone…greens were good and tender…Mac was creamy with good seasoning…cornbread tasted like lemon pound cake so it was somewhat the dessert. I was stuffed but kept eating that’s how you know it was great

My cousin and I attended Beyond Sweet a couple of months back for the first time. Upon walking in, the place was beautifully decorated. Real classy vibes, which was really refreshing. They had a live band which was a nice grown and sexy touch. I ordered shrimp n grits, which is my go to wherever I go lol it was and very filling. Both of my cousins ordered the same thing which was the seafood waffle, as you can see below in the pics it look immaculate. I can’t wait to go back, I need to book a reservation. I also love that the menu is updated constantly.

When we arrived at 11 for brunch, the door was still locked and we had to wait for about 15 minutes to be seated. My partner’s food came out maybe 10 minutes before everyone else at the table, and I was a little bit disappointed there wasn’t a bloody Mary option or alternative. That being said, the food was delicious and flavorful, and I will give it another try in the future

I visited Beyond Sweet Kitchen and Bar for the first time, and I must say the establishment is both beautiful and cozy. My friend and I decided to try this spot for brunch based on all the glowing reviews and TikTok vlogs. Before diving into my experience, I want to acknowledge that the staff was very friendly, which I appreciated.
Unfortunately, my overall experience wasn’t great. The food arrived warm, not hot, which was disappointing considering it came out almost immediately after the order was placed. I expected it to be freshly made and piping hot.
We also opted for the bottomless mimosas, which turned out to be a waste of time and money. The drinks tasted like straight orange juice, with no trace of alcohol. When we brought this up with our server, he apologized and informed us they had run out of champagne and Prosecco. For a brunch spot on a busy day, this was hard to believe.
However, given the food and drink experience, I’m not sure I’d return.

I enjoyed my experience, the food was good especially the Crab Cakes. I also had the salmon fried rice, I wish I would have come with some type of teriyaki sauce just to boost the flavor, but all in all it was really good. I drank a strawberry lemon drop that was great as well. Service was a little slow, but it was due to there only being one waiter, but he was really amazing. My friend had an issue with her meal, but the issue was rectified very well. I will definitely try them again.
