Instead of merely replicating traditional Japanese dishes, Beyond Sushi introduced imaginative vegan alternatives that celebrated the essence of each ingredient. The cauliflower wings, a standout, weren’t merely a substitute; they were a wholesome celebration of cauliflower, enhanced with BBQ sauce. Their sushi pieces were intentionally modern and innovative, steering clear of simply imitating seafood staples. Beyond Sushi champions the idea that vegan dishes can be bold, flavorful, and unique. They truly deserve this 5-star rating for succeeding in this mission. This wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this fusion vegan haven and are eager for our next visit.

Nice and cozy place few minutes from Times Square. Chilli mushroom soup did not disappoint, all was fresh and good. Spicy mang and spicy “tuna” roll was tasty and one to two portions are just enough to fill the stomach of grown man. Server Juliana was nice and took good care of us. Reasonable prices, one portion is around 10 $ (I had 3, just to taste more). Iam not even vegan and could enjoy the food and difference is not big.

I have walked pass this place so many times and now I have finally gone in and tried their food. The Coconut Curry was delicious, I loved every bite, I would definitely recommend. I am a Spring Roll snob and I was disappointed in their version of them mostly because the price didn’t fit the amount. However it is a beautiful new restaurant where you go to spend a little coin but the rolls weren’t worth the price honestly. Overall the place was beautiful and the food was great. Don’t worry I will be going back…on a payday.

This is place did not disappoint me even I’m not a vegan. My friend and I had a couple of rolls and we both liked the Sweet Tree Roll the most, the toasted cayenne sauce on top was really good. The dessert ube cashews cheesecake was great too. Although it doesn’t have the cheese flavor, but has the satisfying creamy texture. Service was excellent. We’ll be back for more.

Some of the best sushi in NYC, vegan or not! The atmosphere and service at the Harold Square location in particular is wonderful for date night or a small gathering. Excellent table service accompanied by wonderfully plated dishes. You won’t be disappointed!

Honestly disappointing. For someone used to fresh fish, this sushi has really thin fish portions and the fish doesn’t have the freshness texture of seaside places. Overall, the food was good but the excessive use of chili did not allow us to properly taste the ingredients choice, which in my opinion is what makes fusion sushi interesting. The service was exceptional, very thoughtful and concerned!

Fantastic concept with tasty vegan sushi and dumplings. The decor was minimalist and understated but the food was anything but. We took full advantage of the lunch offer with 2 dishes for $17. The avocado sushi was the perfect bite- creamy with a burst of seasoning from the ‘caviar’. The truffle dumplings were not my favourite dish. Service was friendly and somewhat attentive. Note that Wi-Fi is not available.

Wow. Great atmosphere, ambience changed as the day progressed, staff is super attentive, location was clean, intimate, vibrant. Food was wow, don’t have to be vegan to enjoy the food.
