So this place is mixed for me. It’s good food (most of the time) for sure but very overpriced.
The place itself was lacking cleanliness. Tables and walls look like they haven’t been wiped all day
Staff are extremely polite otherwise. Big food menu
Location was nearby other outlets which is also great

This neighborhood bagel shop has never really been my go‑to spot, but I’ve always supported them because they’re so close to home—and now, with the new owner, that loyalty finally feels rewarded.
New owner, new energy
The new owner is absolutely incredible: warm, present, and genuinely invested in both the food and the customers, which completely changes the energy of the place.
You can feel the difference as soon as you walk in—there’s a pride and hospitality that just wasn’t there before, and it makes you want to keep coming back.
The lox bagel
I ordered a bagel with lox, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time.
The lox was sliced so thin you could almost see through it, silky and delicate, layered generously over a fresh, chewy bagel, and every bite was delicious.
Why I’ll keep coming back
This was the first time I left thinking of this as more than just the “convenient” spot near my house—it’s now a place I’m excited to recommend.
Between the fantastic lox bagel and an owner who clearly cares, this little shop has officially moved from backup option to real neighborhood favorite.

$18.73 for a chicken cutlet on a roll. It’s good food but way overpriced. Instead of calling it Beyond Bagels & Deli.

Call it “Rip Off Robs & Deli”

Must go for bagels! New ownership is running a tight ship! Really turned around! I had avoided this place since moving to town for bad reviews and unimpressive looking bagels. Just happened I stopped in only to grab some cream cheese I had forgotten to get while at my previous go-to bagel joint (spoiler, this is my place now). I ended up walking out with another dozen bagels because they looked too good to pass up. Verdict: Texture outstanding, taste is great, perfect coatings on the regular and egg everything. Schmear is good too, maybe not as much of a variety as a classic bagel deli, but they have the staples (vege, lox, etc) and what they have is good. Im so happy I stopped in!

I just had one of those pickle sandwiches. I ordered the number 2 turkey with cheese lettuce mayo. First of all i got the wrong sandwich. Mine had bacon on it lettuce and no mayo. There was literally 3 pieces of turkey on it. So for that and a 20oz bottle of ginger ale it was $21.18. Which is criminal! I know everything in this world has gone up but that was riddiculuos ! Never going back there again!

Very good and fresh bagel sandwiches but SEVERELY overpriced. When does a B.E.C on everything bagel and a bottle of Yoo-Hoo run you $12.00 cash and $12.50 by card??? Maybe just me but been living in NY for 50 yrs and do understand inflation however this is simply unheard of.

Staff is very friendly and overall Beyond Bagels provide a neat and clean appearance though I can’t overlook the fact their pricing simply turn me off for returning.

I’m really disappointed with my experience. I ordered a ham sandwich and even repeated my order twice to the woman, yet I was given a chicken sandwich instead. On top of that, I later realized I was overcharged for the sandwich $24 for a sandwich is insane. Unfortunately, I was in a rush and didn’t notice until after I left. Since I was already far away due to work, I didn’t have time to go back and deal with it. Definitely not the experience I expected.

Nice store with nice staff but maybe it’s been my luck but never got açaí bowl that wasn’t bustin from the lid. $10.99 feels a bit much with too little product compared to other sellers. Plus you have to fill out a form to order, not sure why. But they got good breakfast sandwiches

This place is good but they are weird and do dumb things all the time. Ordered a turkey sandwich with mayo, they thought it would be a good idea to put the mayo on the side when no one asked for that (who does this? Who thought that was a good idea?), also notice in the picture the embarrassingly small pickle.

Another time I ordered on uber eats and the driver didn’t deliver the right order so I ordered again, the restaurant thought it was a mistake so they didn’t fulfill the order (understandable), so I called and went through a ridiculous automated system (relax guys you’re a deli not a Fortune 500 company you can have a normal phone.) I finally got on the phone with the person who claimed to be the owner, he took the order and said 15 minutes, it was delivered 2 hours later and I couldn’t get through when I called, I refused the order and the owner called me back and blamed the girl working at the counter as if I didn’t talk directly to him. Their food is good but it’s a dice roll of if they are gonna do something dumb with your order.

Edit: the girl in my office ordered a bacon egg and cheese, salt, pepper, ketchup. They put the salt pepper and ketchup on the side. Seriously who is running this place?

Haven’t been here in about 6 or 7 years.
Wonder if John’s still running the place.
I was a Texan on Long Island trying to find something familiar to eat.

Ya’ll managed to fill me up every morning for about 2 months.

Everything Bagel with 2 pieces or sausage, bacon and potatoes inbetween.

Hope your doing well these days guys.
