We went to Beverly Depot for Valentine’s Day, and everything was exceptional from the service to the drinks to the main course to dessert! We’ve been many times, and personally, I never had a seafood dish. The haddock with crabmeat stuffing was a generous portion and perfectly cooked and so tasty. The Depot Cosmo was a perfect start to the evening and the wine with dinner was a generous pour (which you don’t see at a lot of in restaurants these days). Of course the salad bar is the best around and so fresh along with my favorite, the cheddar cheese and fresh baked bread. The shared caramel, coconut, banana and pecan fried ice cream dessert was so unique and beyond delicious, and even the coffee and the coffee drink to cap off the evening had such a great smooth flavor! The staff was super friendly and attentive and paced each course perfectly. The value for such a complete quality meal in such a great atmosphere was phenomenal as well! I had 8 oz filet mignon with bearnaise sauce on the side and steamed mixed veggies. My medium cooked filet was perfect and delicious. The salad bar with cheese and bread was included with my entree. The pickled beets and cheese was awesome. The filet at $45.95 was pricey but expected here. The depot coffee was as I remembered, a Depot specialty drink.

After we ordered our drinks we were told that they didn’t have prime rib or ribeye steak for the unseen future. I asked for the tenderloin medallions medium rare and lobster casserole. The medallions came out medium to medium well and the casserole was mostly bread crumbs. Bake potato was very good and so was the salad bar. #missing The Hardcover

We have come here twice and it’s been consistent each time. Never a wait time and extremely well made food. The service is great and staff are kind. Prime rib, crab cakes, and espresso Martini are in the picture but we also got a new york steak and chocolate martini, both were amazing. Everything is cooked exactly as asked and it’s perfect for date night.

Beverly Depot – Waste of money! Party of 4 we were all disappointed with everything but the salad bar and dessert! We don’t send stuff back so took it home to throw away. After 35 years celebrating there we are done! Filet was a strange dry texture, no taste, same with prime rib and sirloin. Prime rib was tough like a pork chop! Baked stuffed shrimp different recipe and awful! No seasoning on anything I’m sorry i didn’t listen to other reviews. Birthday dinner was a big disappointment! We will not be back! This place will be closing soon!

Gary greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile! Heather then wowed us with her creativity in cocktail mixology! Dinner was fabulous and the atmosphere takes you back in time to the days when the only way to travel was by rail! What an incredible experience!!
