Bev & Hennie’s is a coffee and gourmet sandwich shop. We serve coffee, sandwiches, breakfast, smoothies, pastries, soup and few other goodies. Stopped by, during a quick stay in the area. Great location! Service was amazing. It was refreshing to see some friendly, smiling faces. Not used to that. The ladies were working super hard to get orders out fast. The food was fresh. Which was a relief, as I can’t handle fried food. They had a great variety of sandwich options on their menu. My little picky eaters had the smoothies; and everyone was happy.

The food is most excellent. Very different choices than others offered in town. I have had the Crowbar and Brisket Grilled Cheese. Both were tremendous. The service is quick and extremely friendly. I am not a coffee drinker so I cant speak to that side of it. Worth your time and money.

I am from out of town and did not see any obvious signage for this place. I had to turn around and drive by a few times before I realized that the grocery store shared the same address. I was using navigation but that’s sometimes inaccurate. Even when I pulled into the grocery store parking lot it was not very obvious where this place is. I had a well made latte so I’m glad I kept looking. 5 star coffee and service for sure.

Amazing coffee and sandwich shop for a small town like Parkersburg, IA! They have a great variety of caffenated and non-caffenated drink options, as well as hot sandwiches, salads, soups, bakery items, and even breakfast. I appreciate that they have a drive thru with order ahead options!

Very nice bistro/cafe in rural Iowa serving warm and fresh food. Food is homemade and you can tell they care. So far, their handcrafted soups and sandwiches have been a real nice addition to the Parkersburg food scene. Don’t forget a chocolate chip cookie on the way out.

The drive thru had no other cars but I was waiting there for an solid 20 minutes waiting for them to talk at the order speaker and waiting for food. They didn’t apologize for the long wait either. Other than that the drink was good.
