If you’re a true cheese lover, Between Two Buns is an absolute must-visit. I ordered the fried cheese burger — yes, you read that right — instead of bread, it’s pure, golden, crispy cheese holding everything together. For anyone who loves both cheese and burgers, this is pure fantasy on a plate.
The portion is huge — definitely XL-sized and comes with fries. I consider myself bold and managed to finish it all, but it’s easily a meal that could satisfy even the biggest appetite.
The staff was impeccable and genuinely friendly from start to finish. Even the other guests added to the warm vibe — I went alone and since there weren’t free tables, someone kindly offered me a seat. That small gesture made the whole experience even more pleasant.
Once my plate arrived, I ate peacefully, enjoying the good music and the cozy atmosphere. It’s one of those places made for food lovers who truly want to savor their meal without rush.
Just a small note — as it’s a lively kitchen with delicious food sizzling all around, you might leave carrying a tiny hint of that “grilled goodness” with you. But honestly, that’s part of the charm — it just means the food is fresh and made right there, with love.

We stopped by Between Two Buns in Miami, and it did not disappoint! I got the kids’ meal since I wasn’t very hungry, but it was still huge and so delicious. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and said it was everything he’s ever wanted — perfectly seasoned and super juicy. The customer service was great too; everyone was friendly, helpful, and took the time to make suggestions and answer questions. And the vibe? On point — the music had some great beats going! Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to when we’re in Miami ! Oh and their sauce !!!!! Top tier !!!

Awesome family owned spot for great burgers. The queso frito got us in the door, the smash burger was the star of the show. Everything was surprisingly cheap for the quality and came in huge portions. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming, definitely add this stop to your south Florida trips!

Man, that was intense! This place doesn’t play around. I had a smash burger with a fried chicken patty, smashed maduros, shoe string potatoes, and a fried cheese patty. It was crazy!
Service is top notch, and the food is awesome. There’s only four tables though, so you aren’t guaranteed seating depending on how busy they are. Totally worth the risk though!
Pro Tip: they will customize anything in any way you want. That burger I described isn’t on the menu.

We found out about Between Two Buns because of TikTok. It did not disappoint! My husband got the smash with the fried cheese as buns with a fried egg, bacon, and a maduro and a side of onion rings. I got the single smash that comes with 1 maduro with fries on the side, my daughter had the chicken sandwich and my son had tenders with fries. Everything was made right there on the spot. Their signature sauce is delicious! Their onion rings are sweet, crispy but fluffy and pair well with their signature sauce. Their vanilla and Oreo shakes are to die for! The staff are extremely friendly and customer service oriented. They came by as we ate to ensure everything was ok. The only minor opportunity that they have is that the space is small and so seating is limited. So be ready to eat in your car or take it home. We were in luck and got to eat in. However, don’t let that stop anyone from giving them a try I promise you that you will not regret it. I forgot to take pictures before we started eating. If I could give them a 100 stars. I would! Incredible service and amazing food! My brothers found this place on Instagram and took the whole family to try. The burgers are well worth the price. They should make a version with guava sauce as we were gie m guava instead of ketchup and man, it hit hard.

Simple, tasty and fresh food. They have fine tuned all the details that go into the food (bread is beyond soft, cheese is always melted, fries are crisp). Tried it for the first time two weeks ago and I’m here again today. I like this place and plan to try the menu.

I got the island chicken sandwich which was REALLY good. They bread and fry the chicken on the spot. Juicy chicken with delicious barbecue sauce and JALEPEÑOSSS. They don’t have many spicy options but this one is good. They also use Martin’s potato bread for all their sandwiches which is a delightful choice. It takes me a bit to get full but this got me FULL. 10/10 recommend
