Buddy & I decided to meet up for beer & food one afternoon. Decided on this place. I wish I knew about this place sooner. From the moment we set foot inside to the hug before we left. Was a total treat. Its a place you come to chill & can mingle with strangers. & the waitress Aster was a total delight. So pleasant to everyone & chill. I said she was part why people go there, im sure. Heard all the food there was amazing. I had the shrimp tacos & cheese curds. Buddy had the all out cheese fries & Chicago style hotdog. Not a big menu. But what is on there. Is great. & a great place to get beer. Banner outside says 50 plus beers I believe. & they have a lot. & groller options for take home. Were out of some but we managed. I had a an amazing time. I wish I knew of this place earlier. Thanks to Aster for making it an experience to remember.

Wow. I’ve been coming down to LBL for decades. This gem has been around. 3 or 4 years.

The food is damn fantastic. Wow.

The atmosphere is pretty nice

Service is spot on.

I will tell you this…….. There are some pretty famous catfish houses in the area. The Friday catfish platter out competes every single one of them , and I have ate at them all.

The fish was very good….massively flakey but firm. Not overcooked and very good …..the batter was very interesting. Felt like a cross between a light batter and a beer batter

My wife had shrimp tacos and they were also pretty good. Shrimp is used to do, and it’s usually overdone and robbery. Not this. The shrimp was pretty firm and had a snap to the bite.

Everything was very fresh.

I will definitely be back.

Arrived solo 2-28-26 with my grand “dog”. Selected eating here specifically because they allow dogs. Nice treat after hiking during gorgeous weather for the month. Patio crowd wasn’t really busy, still couple tall patio tables available. We sat at a table, finally got service. Made an order of a burger and side salad with NO bread with the regular burger toppings and a Jameson with club. We had to move due to smokers at the next table. We sat at a small bench next to the building. Fortunately that worked due to more people coming to eat. My dog behaved very well while patiently waiting after 30 mins, no food nor my drink. I finally got the attention of my server. She buzzed by saying “ your food is up next”. I asked about my drink. She then brought my food (see picture) with no napkins and no burger toppings- finally my drink. It took quite some time to get her attention again. I was almost done with my salad still waiting to get the toppings that were supposed to come with my burger. She then brought that out and still no napkins. I was completed with all my food when I had to ask for napkins. I just told her I was ready to check out then I also explained to her that if someone specifically request no bread with their sandwich to take in mind that maybe there is a food allergy such in my case (or someone that might be keto). I travel to many places across the US and have always had a burger with the toppings just no bread and no croutons on the salad. My main complaint with this place is the smoking – maybe a suggestion to be in a designated to one side of an area. I will try this place one more time if in the area.

The food here is so good if your visiting Grand Rivers this place is a must. Great burgers, good wings, large variety of different beers. We had an awesome waitress that took care of us and was very friendly. I highly recommend!

This restaurant was disappointing. When we entered we stood awkwardly waiting to be seated as there was no signage. Luckily, someone sitting at the bar said that we could seat ourselves. This was a bit difficult because almost all of the tables were dirty. We were a party of five and it took at least five minutes for the waitress to acknowledge us. They were steady but not busy. We tried ordering fried green tomatoes but they were out so we ended up with cheese curds & pretzel bites. I ordered the New England Lobster Roll as my entrée but the waitress said they were out. She also mentioned they were out of chicken tenders, ribs, and another item that I can’t recall. I ended up with the Pulled Chicken Sald Sandwich. I was not a fan as it had an herb flavor that was overpowering. I believe it may have been dill. My sister got the “Perfect Chicken Sandwich” and they forgot the sauce. I will say that the pretzels and chips were really good and the pretzels reminded me of a donut texture. They also have pool tables and a few arcade games.

Great selection of beers on tap and in cans & bottles. My Nashville chicken sandwich was about as good as one you’d actually get in Music City.

Visited Grand Rivers for a long weekend getaway. Went here on night 2…honestly enjoyed it more than Patti’s 1880’s restaurant. No reservations needed. As soon as we walked in, sign said seat yourself. We didn’t sit 30 seconds before the guy from the bar brought us menus. Large beer selection. Food arrived quickly. Great onion rings, and really good burgers. We enjoyed chilling listening to the live music and ended up ordering more drinks and just sitting relaxing for quite a while. It was a nice night so they had the “garage doors” open to the outside. Really relaxing, low-key enjoyable night.

Nice folks that work here. Lot of beer choices. I had a porter but it was a bit hoppy for my liking. Wasn’t a lot of comfortable seating so we just sat at the bar. Had a cold, cafeteria feel and had quite an echo. Was getting a little tight as more people showed up so we left.

Delicious! Little off the highway but worth a couple miles to find this local gem. Staff are super friendly and helpful. So glad we stopped on our way to TN. Fantastic regional brews on tap. Well balanced seasoning in the lobster roll and grilled chicken sandwich. Highly recommend this place. It’s a good sign to know this is where the locals come. They welcomed us in our dining experience.

Recently moved to Grand Rivers area and decided to go out for an evening for a drink and entertainment. Found this spot. We are glad we did. First visit got lucky and got a seat at the bar. We ordered Shrimp Tacos. Yummmm!!! Bartender was quick on taking our order and noticed each time we were ready for another drink. There was a couple of guys singing on stage and seemed as if everyone was enjoying them. I know we were (They sounded good) inside and outside of the business was full. Employees were very busy. It seemed like one would be walking by constantly with trays of food or drinks. We had a great time and seemed as if everyone else was too. Oh and can’t forget AMY she’s the pretty girl behind the bar…..
