Nice little place to go for breakfast/lunch food if you’re staying at Boyne Resort. Reasonably priced, nice staff, clean, and really good food!

I chose to come to Betty’s because of my 10% discount as a Bluegreen Vacations timeshare owner.
Although the corned beef hash probably came from a can, it was still really good, as were the scrambled eggs.
I found Betty’s to be a quaint and rustic little place. The artwork on the wall was like going back in time.

Cash or Venmo only. Chill quiet spot. Service was courteous and kind. Fun signs on walls (check out signs in the bathroom too!) The food took a very long time. We probably waited an hour from when we ordered before we got our food. Perhaps they were short-staffed. Once it arrived the food was good, especially the potatoes and the cheese omelette. We’ll probably come back but next time will know it might take a while.

Food was good. Cash only. Our waitress was nice and attentive. We asked for over easy eggs, got over easy eggs. No burnt food. The only downside is the parking but still worth the frustration for the food.

This restaurant is a small cute little place. The servi e and food, excellent. Only one thing… they only accept cash, check and Vemmo, no credit cards. We did not know this til it was time to pay. Thank God we had Vemmo. Just thought I would share. But the food and service is really good.

Visiting Boyne Mountain Resort like we always do, and along with that, we always went to Betty’s Restaurant for breakfast. I was getting a lot of negative feedback about Betty’s but we weren’t convinced…. until now. The service was absolutely TERRIBLE!!! Betty’s got 2 of my orders wrong on how we wanted our eggs cooked, no big deal, things happen. The eggs they remade (6) were brought back the same way even worse(wanted over medium and they were brought back hard, again) and we were told by the waitress in there, “Too bad, sorry it’s just they way they’re coming out when they’re cracked”. Like, what? Been cooking eggs my whole life. Anyone could’ve went back there and cooked eggs better than them. The waitress was extremely rude, to the point like it was our fault our meals didn’t come out how we asked for them. We were sat right in front of the griddle and could hear the cook almost mock us for not getting our order right. It was a very un-welcoming feeling, in a place where you should feel welcome. I am very generous wherever I go, but the tip reflected in the food that they refused to make and or take off of our bill because we did not eat it. Only took 2 eggs off of the bill and they still never got me eggs the way I asked. I will never be back and no one I’m affiliated with will be either. We used to pack that place out with 20 people on our multiple ski trips a season here in Boyne. They have now displayed that it is more about the money than it is the actual food and experience. It costs as much for breakfast there as it does the resort. Anyone who reads this review should NEVER GO TO BETTY’S RESTAURANT!! I would leave zero stars if I could.
Edit: I love that you gave that response. It speaks on your character and who you are as a business. You should’ve apologized for not knowing how to cook the simplest thing there is… eggs. Not needy, I’m paying for a service you provide that you fell short on and continued to be rude b/c you screwed up. You replaced 2 eggs out of 6 you screwed up. It ain’t about the bill. Your service was terrible, and your cook needs training. And just b/c you have good reviews doesn’t mean you don’t have bad ones. Go and read the ones about your service, wait time, and attention to detail when people order. Not everyone takes the time to leave one when a place is garbage. Pay attention to the reviews, though. Cinnamon rolls were amazing, we were lucky to get them before they ran out. Service was mediocre at best and somewhat slow. Food was average. Prices were good. Very homey feel. Art work on the walls made me chuckle.
