Solid NY style pizza with floppy inside and crispy crust! House salad was phenomenal, my husband said he can eat that as an entree itself. Great service and sat outside on a lovely night! My daughter enjoyed seeing the trains pass by too.

4.5 stars!! We came in tonight and had a great meal! We ordered the garlic knots (=delicious) and a pepperoni pizza. The crust was both soft and crisp and the same time. A nice change of pace from Chicago style tavern or deep dish. The server was very helpful and friendly as well. We will be back soon to try more menu items!!

Based on a fairly definitive sampling of pizza places located in Oak Park, I’d say its that it is at worst, tied for the best pizza. It’s NY style pizza with a bit of a twist. The crust is lighter and crispier than a typical NY slice (I think its the cornmeal) but the flavor of the crust and pizza overall is excellent. Ordered the house salad and garlic knots, both good. We will definitely be returning.

Pretty good pizza – a nice change of pace from Lou’s and Gio’s. Everything on the pie was fresh. Had the Vodka Pie and it was full of flavor. The fried zucchini was left in the fryer too long, but has potential to be good. If you are carrying out be careful to check your bill because they automatically added 20% gratuity on our carryout order. We didn’t notice it until we got home. I don’t know if this is standard practice for them or the girl decided to put it on herself, but didn’t sit right. They should minimally make people aware of it before signing. So food was a strong 4 but service brings this down to 3.

Went to Betty’s last Saturday for the first time, and everything was delicious! We had the mushroom appetizer, vodka pie, and our daughter had the Mac and cheese. We particularly loved the vodka pie – and the crust is fantastic, just as it should be for this type of pizza. We liked it so much, we went back this Saturday for the white pie – again, amazing! Can’t wait to try the buffalo chicken pie next time!

Tried Betty’s over the weekend. The staff was great, happy and friendly. We placed our order for pick up and couldn’t wait to get the pizza home. We did the cheese pie with pepperoni.. The pizza was delicious! The crust was done just right, even had some super toasty parts for that toasted crunch.The only downside was the pizza got super oily after only a short time. But other than that, we’ll be back for more!

As a life long lover of Chicago tavern style pizza (not the deep dish tourist pizza) I have never loved NY style pizza. Betty’s really changed my mind. Nice thin crust but not soggy especially since it is pie cut. High quality sausage and pepperoni with gooey cheese. I literally get cravings every week.
