What an awesome find! There is plenty of great sounding options on the menu, I went for the Jucy Lucy with fries. It lives up the name! Maybe slightly too much sauce, but hard to fault considering it packs a punch of flavour and the portion size is generous, especially for the reasonable price. The chips are excellent too, light, crispy and well seasoned.
For those that read this far, be warned that the place is tricky to find. It’s actually a part of Nellys operating as a ghost kitchen, but you can dine in.
The service was somewhat slow, but the staff are friendly and the food was worth the wait.
100% will return to try another option!

Had this as delivery, as this is a ghost kitchen and that’s the only option. Burgers felt very rushed, with buns being quite stale and an inconsistent amount of dressings. Fries were not good, basically the thing you think of when you think of bad take-out fries. A fast food meal would genuinely have been better. Can’t really recommend, there are better options.

Got delivery with Door Dash. Burgers arrived hot and milkshake was still frozen. Fried shrimp was great. The sauce worked well. Burgers were not too big but very tasty. Chicken burger was very big. My mother-in-law says it was good. The side salads for the burger was delicious. Fries were average but they were a bit soggy because of the delivery. Side sauces were very good. The caramel shake was great. Mac and cheese was creamy and rich. The egg on the Hangover burger was surprisingly perfect. Only 4 stars because lettuce on burgers was a bit wilted, but again, that was probably just delivery. We would have done 4.5 if possible.

Checked out the pop up at nautical nellies. Ordered a selection of items from the menu to get a good overall idea. The wings were excellent. Better than expected from a burger restaurant. Great selection of flavors as well. Cajun shrimp was lack luster. Missed the mark on the Cajun spices. The truffle fries were exceptional. Truffle is a bold flavor and can overpower a dish when not used with restraint. Betty burger really did a great job with these fries. Recommend them 100%. The burgers were decent. I felt that the patties were under seasoned. I wouldn’t go as far as to say bland, but I would love to see more seasoning in the meat. I think the future for betty burger looks bright with a very little refining. Definitely looking forward to visiting them when they have a permanent home.

The service and place where amazing. Betty burger is a submenu of the Nellie’s seafood and steak house. The portions were generous . We tried the juicy Lucy and it was one of the best burgers I have tried ever. Really juicy and prime quality meat with enough flavor from the other ingredients. Recommended to anyone around downtown Victoria

I recommend trying them out, its definitely not the best burger I have ever had but I can tell you I will order from them again. The burger is still on par with being great! And I love things that tastes home made.

We ordered beef dip and juicy Lucy burger , along with Mac n cheese and a Caesar salad. This is BY FAR the best food on skip the dishes. The beef dip literally melted as you bit it, same with the hamburger. I’ll be ordering here again 100%. Had to leave a review that’s how good it was. Unreal. Great job guys

I ordered through Skip the Dishes and would have given them 5 stars because everything tasted amazing. Only problem was instead of the smores stuffed cookies I ordered I got the chcolate mousse ones. Highly disappointing after such a good couple of burgers and salad. Sadly because of delivery it’s not really something that can be fixed without being a big hassle for everyone so they really need to make sure what is going out is what is supposed to.

Did not enjoy the burger or the fries. Bland aside from the sauce which was about 3 tbsp too much on the burger. I dont need enough fries for 3 people, I would rather have a satisfying, juicy burger for the cost. The brussels were pretty good but were cold. I suppose that is mostly a delivery issue.

We didn’t realize it is a Ghost kitchen inside Nautical Nellies at first and did a big walk around the block. the Burgers we got were really good, and my friend was head over heels for the fries.
