When people talk about Southern cuisine, soul food, Mama’s cooking- this is what they mean. I had the freshest chicken and shrimp I’ve had in as long as I can remember. I will always come back here, ya’ll have made a lifelong customer out of me ! Best value and quality for miles and miles !

We got there 20 minutes before close and offered to take the food to go so we didn’t keep the staff late. They assured us it wasn’t a problem to stay and eat. We got the 9 piece chicken, which came with 2 sides and 6 rolls. We also got large fries. The chicken came in a box and each of us got a plate and personal cups of the sides. The fries came in a huge box which we weren’t able to finish. My mom swears this is the best potato salad she’s ever had! Everyone there was super nice and so happy to hear we thought it was delicious.

Worth the Trip! Good Food, Great Service, Amazing people and Prices. Me and the Wife took a trip to see what all the fuss was about and it was worth it. I had the Shrimp plate with a chicken leg on the side with Okra and Potato Salad. Wifey loved the fish plate with collard greens and Okra. The food was so good we ended up getting Fish sandwiches and collards to go! I definitely will be back again!

Picked up dinner today for the first time. Had the 3 piece white dinner with rice & gravy and green beans. It was very good I will definitely be back and I highly recommend them

We had our 2 year old grandbaby birthday party catered and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the food. Everybody at the party was asking who done the food. It was amazing. If you need a cater go to Betty & Buddies. You won’t be disappointed.

This place is a wonderful find. Excellent fried chicken, delicious sides. The staff is always friendly. If you find yourself in Tabor city , you really should stop in if you never have. I highly recommend.

Rode past this place while out on a motorcycle ride. Turned around and stopped in to check it out and have lunch. Great food with great service and prices! I had the 2-piece chicken with green beans and fries. All were fantastic and hot! We will be back!! Maybe with 20 friends!
