Mafaldine alla gircia pasta- this was very creamy and delicious. I loved the house made noodles.
Casitas Valley Sausage pizza – this was also a great dish to share. We got 2 slices each between 3 of us.
Meatballs Alla Vodka – little under cooked but still delicious. The sauce is rich.
Ricotta – it has egg plant it in and was wonderful especially with their house bread.
Olive oil cake – we got this to go, but it was liight and fluffy.
Service was great, we gor there an hour before closing and got sat outside. Although it was colder night the heat lamps were strong.
There was plenty of parking and in a cute strip mall with other restaurants.
We ordered two pizzas- the Corn Pizza and the Meat Lovers Pizza. The waitress let us know it’d likely be around a 30 minute wait for them to arrive- it ended up only being around 15 minutes or so.
The pizza crust itself was delcious- perfectly cooked with a delicious flavor. Unique topping combinations as well. Reasonable prices given the ingredient quality and the Montecito location. We will definitely be back to try other flavors!
Service was slow; plenty of waiting for our large party of 9.
Minestrone soup was very ordinary, not any depth in flavor at all.
But pizzas and bread we ordered were worth the wait. We tried 5-6 different types and were happy with each and every one of them.
Overall, I would recommend to anyone who wants to just have a good Pizza, or bread for that matter. But be prepared to wait for your turn.
We sat at the bar by the oven, which gave us front-row seats to the action. The guy handling the pizzas was super friendly and clearly passionate about his craft it made the experience even better.
We ordered the mushroom pizza and it did not disappoint. The dough, fermented for at least 48 hours, was light, crisp, and full of flavor truly artisan quality. Each bite was earthy and satisfying.
I’m already planning my next visit to try their Peach and Poblano pizzas, which looked incredible coming out of the oven. Bettina is a must for pizza lovers in Santa Barbara.
