We opened our restaurant and catering business to offer a wide selection of comfort food, but with a gourmet twist! Our menu offers a twist on modern comfort food by incorporating our delicious dips & sauces into each offering. Come try us out and see why we are Better than Mama’s! We’re located in the Broadway Commons Building, behind the coffee house & kitty corner to the Salem Cinema.

Went here looking for a good burger after a great ride. We were not disappointed! It was very diffrent but very clean tasting and good! There are not a thousand choices but just enough you can find something that will suit you! It is completly diffrent then any other place i have been! I look forward to returning to taste the other items on the menu! I had a Oriental philly sandwich type thing with kimchi added to it! My buddy had a special burger that was loaded with veggies and a croissant bun!

Ok, I have only tried the poutine but we have been searching for good poutine in all of willamette valley and we found it just a couple miles from home. We loved the poutine here!! Crispy hearty fries, delicious gravy and cheese curds. Yum!!!

I’ve gotten sandwiches at Better Than Mama’s a couple of times and they are underwhelming. They can use more sauce and it would be better if the bread was toasted! It’s a cute shop and a more affordable lunch option which is a plus.

I ordered the zinger as a wrap with chicken and fries on the side. Instead of the wrap I asked for I got stale bread, lacked sauce, chicken was dry and unseasoned. The fries were soggy and to top it off the staff brought an awkward vibe to my service. Very cute place and has potential though.

Menu was smaller then I thought it would be, online is advertised to look way better then it actually is, forgot the chicken on my mac and cheese but the sweet lady happily added it on but issues with the curtains customers arent being seen and serviced timely because if someone is in the back you have to ring the bell or you’ll stand there for 5 to 10 mins. Mediocre food and no drinks besides like 5 overpriced pre bottled options. This place could be awesome with someone else running the menu and decor, maybe add drinks to your menu, it’s hot outside!

This used to be a favorite go-to, but menu changes took some of our favorites of the menu. The pita chips are still amazing though. However, I wouldn’t recommend most of the seating for bigger bodies. And today, ordering pick-up, I stood there for several minutes while staff noticed me, and continued to work on other projects without even a greeting. Just not what it used to be.

Interesting place. The sandwich I had was the B.O.S.S. Cheese Steak and it was good, but lacked the caramelized onions and if they were on you couldn’t taste them. My brother had the B.L.A.T and was extremely disappointed in it. It was very skimpy on the bacon. The service left a lot to be desired as well.

The Korean spin on Philly cheesesteak was incredible and deeply satisfying. Bulgogi beef was delicious as the cheesesteak meat. They get bonus points for offering a Gluten Free wrap. I was hesitant to try the meal but honestly I like it a lot better than traditional cheesesteak sandwiches and being able to enjoy it GF style was a huge win. I would totally eat this again next time I’m in town.

Super delicious! Came by here with my son and husband and luckily it was free fries Friday with any Burger purchase. Everything was delicious and my son really loved the blue cheese aioli on his Burger.
