We’ve driven by this place a few times and decided to check it out. It’s next to Evelyn’s Park, and has a large open seating area, shaded with games. Quiet and beautiful. The park is NOT pet friendly, and I asked the staff if the restaurant was. They said they don’t mind dogs, but people still complain about it, so not worth the hassle.

Breakfast tacos were delicious. Service was great. We want to check it out at night since they have alcoholic drinks too. Seems like a chill vibe.

I will describe my experience in Betsy’s like comfortable. If you want family oriented it patio restaurant this is your place. A simple menu and delicious food, spacious patio sitting with nice music ideal to enjoy in a fall night in November.

I went here yesterday (Sunday afternoon) for a late lunch. I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. I ordered the crispy tex-mex salad, which was delicious. Normally these types of salads come with corn, which I’m not a fan of, but this one did not so I didn’t have to request any alterations. The salad was filling and refreshing. I also got an Agua Fresca which was also good. The service was quick and friendly.

I recommend this place to families, as this is right next to an interactive park. I’m not a parent, so kids running in and out isn’t my go-to type of vibe; however, I now know to prep myself or to order to-go.

Update: a few weeks later, grabbed the same salad to-go to bring back to work for lunch. Salad was disgusting; see pics for proof. (Absolutely kidding—it was still delicious )

Disclaimer, we visited when it was raining. The restaurant was completely empty when we entered. I can imagine this being a really fun place to be outside, but it was not possible when we went.

The staff seem friendly, but the guy who was taking her order was not very knowledgeable about the menu. We had a few questions and he had to had someone else answer each of them.

The fried pickles were delicious. The beet salad was OK nothing to write home about. I might return when the weather is nicer, but not when it’s raining.

This place is special, they have dining in and out doors. The salads are amazing, taste so fresh, plentiful if you get a protein. Nice place to have a working lunch too. The grounds are well kept, good parking, and lots on the menu.

My grandkids and a friend came here on Presidents’ Day. Parking was difficult. The bathrooms needed attention. Indoor seating was full and it was cold. The Superfood bowl I ordered was good. The best thing about the kids meals was the fries.

We will continue to come here, mostly because of the adjacent park and playground area and because they have popsicles and soft serve ice cream.

Order food served cold (maybe a salad) and you might not be too disappointed with your meal.

Park is often busy, so be prepared for bad parking and a long wait time. Knowing those two things, the food is delish! I admittedly didn’t get much, just a breakfast taco (brisket) and a smoothie. Both were very good.
