If you know, you know — Beto’s is that late-night, no-frills Mexican spot that always comes through. It’s fast food, sure, but the portions are huge and the food is consistently solid.

The carne asada burritos are packed and actually loaded with meat, not just rice and filler. The carne asada fries are a full-on meal by themselves — crispy fries, generous steak, cheese, sour cream, and guac piled high. Definitely not skimpy.

What I appreciate most is that it’s dependable. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or rolling through the drive-thru late at night, the food is hot, filling, and hits the spot. It’s not trying to be fancy — it’s just good, hearty Mexican fast food done right.

For the price, the portion size, and the convenience, Beto’s is hard to beat. I’ll definitely keep coming back

I ordered a Chili Verde Burrito, smothered. It was $2.49 extra to have it smothered. The sauce amount was pathetic and didn’t “smother” it at all.
I had to add my own green taco sauce to it.
For a much better experience, go to La Puente in Layton.

I go to Beto’s to eat now instead of Rancheritos that is one minute from my house Betos has really good food and it is always hot. Unlike other places the girl that helps me that is usually there in the morning. I’m not sure what her name is but she is totally awesome really good attitude smiles and laughs and if I asked ask for an extra hot sauce they don’t charge me like other places. I do gotta say I gotta drive out of my way, but it’s worth it and their prices are really good compared to other places. Thanks so much Betos, I will keep coming back have not been dissatisfied since I started going there

I always order a breakfast burrito de chorizo. Chorizo always tastes kinda raw. Always looks pink and undercooked. I always ask the lady if they can cook the chorizo a bit longer. Never says yes just tells me to pull forward. One time I believe I received my burrito how I asked for it. After that it’s just always undercooked. Not to mention the customer service I get from her when I pull forward. Like it bothers them that I ask them to cook the chorizo more.

Been here a few times and the food was great. This time I’m disappointed. Went to the military base location, ordered the rolled tacos and it was basically a rolled and fried tortilla with guacamole and cheese on top.

They used old guac on my food and where did that French fry come from? Didn’t even eat anything just pushed it around with a fork after opening it up.

Betos is so good. I love the breakfast burrito, and the fajitas. Great friendly staff. Highly recommend give it a shot. For the price it’s hard to go wrong!

Everything is the same and it’s overpriced for the ingredients. The ingredients don’t constitute enough logic for what they charge, this isn’t Cafe Rio. It’s all pico, refried beans, rice, beef and chicken folded in different shapes. They also give way more beans than rice and they smear the beans under the rice to help elevate the rice in the dish to appear larger in portion. Their birria isn’t that great. Red Taco in Provo and los Tapatios do it better. They all forget to add in complete items in the orders. I’ve overpaid and didn’t receive everything I ordered. They’re about speed and money.

The and I mean the best cheap Mexican out there.
I do not mean that to mean it is low quality. Its quality can rival and high end Mexican out there, but there is a style of cheap street Mexican that is incredible and betos is the best at it.
Highest of recommends.
And i recommend you get an extra tortilla
