One of my best solo dining experiences in George Town. Visited in mid-September on a Sunday for early dinner. After recommendations from Benny the friendly manager , I had the refreshing and super-flavourful appetiser of Cold Capellini (ikura, konbu, citrus, chives), the Main of tender and juicy Braised Beef Cheeks (red wine, barley, carrot, au jus), and the delightful Cognac Soufflé w Vanilla Ice-Cream. Drinks were the friendly Citron Jungle mocktail and a taste of their house-pour Sweet Red wine courtesy of the house. Thank you for the friendly service and conversations throughout. Will definitely be back in the future.

Celebrated birthday at Beton Dining and had a great time. The food was good overall, though the cauliflower sauce was slightly saltier than the rest. Friendly staff and thanks for the complimentary drinks, we girls really enjoyed ourselves. Would come back! ✨

Glad we chose Beton Dining for our dinner during this trip to Penang. The personnel were attentive to details (table setting, cutlery and more importantly, timing of our food. We were able to enjoy each dishes with reasonable timing and before the next is being serviced. Taste wise, was simply great !!!

A truly enjoyable dining experience…..warm, cozy, and unpretentious. The atmosphere strikes just the right balance between casual and refined.
The service was excellent, with attentive wait staff and a friendly owner who personally checked in on us throughout the meal.
The food was delightful, complemented by a well-curated wine selection. Contrary to what we’d heard, the prices were quite reasonable.
Overall, a very pleasant and satisfying experience – one we’d be happy to return for.

As a tourist visiting this city, I came to this restaurant as a walk-in customer without a reservation. Despite the fact that the indoor dining area was already fully booked, the house manager immediately and efficiently arranged a table for us. His professionalism and warm hospitality made us feel welcome right away.
What impressed me even more was his attentiveness. He personally checked in to ask if I felt too warm and kindly offered to turn on a fan, since we were seated outdoors (the indoor dining area was fully booked at the time).
The food itself exceeded our expectations. Without exaggeration, every dish we tried was pleasantly delicious — beautifully prepared, flavorful, and satisfying. The presentation matched the taste, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.
On top of that, the waiter lady who served us showed a remarkable attentiveness; she refilled our water glasses every time they were only half empty, always with a polite smile and without ever needing to be asked.
Between the excellent food, the attentive service, and the pleasant ambience, this restaurant left us with a wonderful impression. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city who values not only good meals but also genuine hospitality.

Very good experience with Beton Dining. Very recomended for dinner date or special ocassion. The staff is very friendly, attentive and professionalism. The food is delicous and highly recomended their signature dishes bikini sandwich and their aglio olio.

First time here, the food and atmosphere are great. Staff is friendly and nice. No worry for parking. Special thanks to Ben, when he knew I gonna propose to my gf on that night, he spent so much effort on preparing the surprise moment, even help to print out photos and hide in “secret place” that surprise me too.
