I ordered the mini breakfast with unlimited hashbrowns and a comfort cake. The waiter was kind, but seems he forgot about the comfort cake, and didn’t offer a second round of hash browns before offering me the check. I actually forgot they were all you can eat till I got home, mentioned I was still kinda hungry, and my wife asked why I didn’t get a second plate. However the potatoes were excellent, the toast was really high quality bread, and the music was fun and not too loud. I also quite like the stack of newspapers by the front. Just a really great old school diner vibe.

The breakfast tacos and burrito were so tasty and very hearty. Both plates are large enough that one plate could feed two people. We went home with ample leftovers.
We loved the warm and welcoming staff, the fun playlist, and the irreverent vibe of the artwork.
Turns out there is more to Beth’s than the infamous 12-egg omelette.

Was a bit disappointed in my first time visit.
Was really looking forward to the biscuits and gravy but they were all out so I order the chicken fried steak, they were out of that too.
The eggs were cooked perfectly my daughter even order an extra one, it was so good.
The French toast fell short,
Soggy, flat flavorless.
The place could use some maintenance. The booth we were sat it had a big rip in it a lot of the boths were actually pretty worn out.
Server was nice and friendly.
We like drawing at the table.

This past Sunday had a Reuben sandwich for lunch. It was tasty and messy but that is part of the Reuben experience, just ask for extra napkins. Wasn’t too crowded and the crew working were awesome, very warm and welcoming. Also the hash browns are all you can eat, but the first serving you get is fairly large and thus I felt no need to get more. The hash browns were perfect, thick, crispy on the outside, warm and chewy on the inside.

Open since 1954. My first visit, Saturday 1/31/2026 about 11a. Service very sluggish, food competent, but “6 egg” omelette had perhaps 3 Large eggs, maybe six tiny eggs? They were blasting rap music, turned it down for us, but then back up again. Almost every table was full, but there are many better breakfast choices in Seattle.

Saw this place had great reviews so we wanted to give it a try! Came here yesterday (Sunday, 12/7) around lunchtime, 12PM or so. The entire interior had hand drawn pictures from mostly kids i’d assume which is very cute. We were sat next to a drawn photo of Patrick Start from the backside… Anyways. The server that initially approached us was kind, brought us waters, but the order taking process was pretty rocky. I had to step in when my friend was ordering because they were repeating back two different menu items to each other, but we got it sorted away after I setepped in. The food came out in 15 minutes or so, but the restaurant was pretty empty. We got french toast, served with no syrup or butter, just dry. The food was pretty good! Crispy hashbrowns, well cooked french toast. The egg-whites on our sunny side up egg were pretty raw but not the biggest deal. We ate a bit, and wanted to order a second round of ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT hashbrowns and maybe get some syrup and butter but you can see the staff (looked like they were all 18-20) standing in the server station eating their own food, on their phones, and talking away. We weren’t approached a single time since the young gentleman dropped off our food. In fact, every time we tried to make eye contact with the team they’d look away and continue their conversation. We watched as our server put her jacket on and clocked out of her shift, never saying bye or asking if we needed anything. The tables next to us were also sitting there, confused, as to where to pay/ how to get the attention of the servers (we were all literally sat across from where they were hanging out) and it was honestly so awkward and frustrating. It is very clear they don’t really care about the experience of the customers and are there to get paid $20/hr and talk with their friends. It took so long to get out of there, honestly. I would be pretty embarrassed to be the manager of this place and to not have appeared on the service floor at all to correct the behavior. This quick brunch turned into about 90 minutes with how long the process took to even pay.

Been around before all these other pop up’s and leave town places, this place has been here serving up Seattle area’s so come on in and keep this long time Trend going for years to come. You’ll be in for a treat, if you are one who need Crayons in life, you’ll feel at home .

My partner and I stopped in for lunch today because we were nearby and it had good ratings. We love diners and go to varsity inn most weekends. Everyone was super nice here and we loved the drawings everywhere. Unfortunately, food wise, it was one of the most disappointing meals we’ve ever had. It was $60 and everything we got was flavorless – which is confusing because we both got egg dishes. Do not recommend.

Had an absolute blast at Beth’s Cafe!
Met up with my buddy and her boyfriend for breakfast, and the vibes were top-tier.
I had scrambled eggs, french toast, bacon, and coffee—everything was delicious and hit just right.
It gets crowded and parking’s street-only, but honestly? Didn’t even care.
Great food, great company, and a classic Seattle spot I’ll always come back to.
