This sandwich shop is an absolute find! If you’re passing through Bethel it’s a great place to get lunch. They have an extensive menu but will make you pretty much anything you want in the way of sandwiches. The atmosphere is interesting: you are sharing space with a wine shop so there is lots to look at. Go all the way to the back room and sit at the table by the side window and you will be treated to one of the most romantic views of any restaurant anywhere. The folks behind the counter are extremely friendly and the prices make the experience a great deal. I can’t say enough good things about this “find”. It is my favorite sandwich shop and deserve the 5 star rating in every category!

Interesting sandwich shop in a funky building with cool views of the White River, that’s also a wine and beer store.

Oh, you’re in for a treat! Imagine strolling in, greeted by the scent of sizzling bacon and fresh coffee, and knowing—you’ve arrived at the breakfast (or lunch) promised land.
This cozy spot is not just about the food (which is fantastic, by the way). No, no—it’s about the vibes. Tables with a glorious view of the dam? That’s just the cherry on top of this already delightful experience. Whether you’re diving into a quick breakfast sandwich or savoring a perfectly cooked burger, you’ll feel like royalty…or at least a very satisfied diner.
The prices? So good, you might start suspecting you’re in a parallel universe where delicious meals are somehow still affordable. Magic? Probably.
So, if you’re looking for a casual stop where taste buds do a happy dance and the scenery politely applauds your excellent life choices, this is the place. 10/10 would recommend.

We stopped on a whim on our way to Montreal. I had the steak and cheese, and my daughter had the chicken sandwich. I was blown away by how good it was. Totally unexpected, and the hospitality was top notch, I felt like we were having a true New England Inn experience with incredible food. Will hit this place up from now on

Very enjoyable home cooked breakfast at a cozy table overlooking the river, railroad bridge and waterfall in the small Vermont town of Bethel. Super friendly owner who made and served our breakfast with reasonable prices. Great for a quick stop along the route along Route 107 between 89 and Rutland.
