I normally dine in but chose to take out because of what I like. It is expensive and to add a tip during a dine in makes the 2 patty meal – $15 per patty including the a small bowl of white rice. Mind you the staff are 1st rate awesome people. They make you feel very welcomed. I have craved their food for a year or so and would sneak off without the family for a nice lunch. I hadn’t been in 6 months and with all things considered above chose to reduce the costs and take out the meal. Well…what I got was not tasty and looked horrible. I’m sad to report that I won’t be craving what I got today. The attached photo is supposed to be an egg foo young patty, but looks horrible, as if the cook didn’t care and the patty is much smaller than when I dine in. I’m so disappointed.

Incredible. Very good food, very fast, friendly staff, and great pricing. Portions are generous and come with tea, a small soup and spring roll. Really good experience, definitely coming back here.

Best Wok truly lives up to its name!
The portions here are generous—you definitely get your money’s worth. The service was top-notch, especially thanks to Chef Dennis, who made the experience even more enjoyable with his friendly personality and obvious passion for his craft.
The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming, and the atmosphere is calm and comfortable. But what stood out most was the authentic, flavorful cuisine—you can tell they care about quality and tradition in every dish.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, great service, and a place that feels genuine from the moment you walk in.

Looking for new flavors, we came to this restaurant. The food was good, but the customer service was only average. The place is too small for a large family. A tip was added without authorization, and there was an extra 3% charge for paying with a card, not to mention how inconvenient it is to receive drinks in cans. BEWARE: THE “BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE” PROMOTION IS A LIE.

My first mistake was thinking l deserved as much respect as other paying customers. Second mistake… maybe l should have tipped on the take out order.
I placed my order, paid the 3% card fee and was told 15 mins. I waited. And waited. I saw how the cashier called out names and offered them napkins and forks. I stood up several times just so he would notice me. He did. After about 30 mins, it became obvious that my food was ready in a bag behind the counter and that l was never going to get it. The cashier was indifferent and ignored me. Finally l had to ask. He gave me the same bag l had been staring at… no napkins, fortune cookie, fork. I did get cold food. I guess my business is worthless to this jerk. I drive by Best Wok on my way home. I’M OBVIOUSLY NOT WELCOMED. Its cool… the food is MEDIOCRE. CHKN CHOW WAS TASTELESS.
MY BIGGEST MISTAKE WAS GIVING THIS SUBPAR OVERPRICED RESTAURANT MY HARD EARNED MONEY.

I’ve gone here now over 20yrs and it never disappoints! (Moved to Kent, so I don’t get here often anymore)… anyway… got takeout yesterday – couple favs and splurged on the duck, which I’ve never gotten here. The owner/manager called to confirm my order – and then went above and beyond with the order! I was going to call to thank him, but thought a public review would be better. So – when he reads this – THANK YOU, everyone LOVED everything, and solidified my opinion that this is my favorite Chinese restaurant.
One of my favorite things is the fried rice is never oily and doesn’t leave that oil after taste that many places do. Likewise, I rarely get Chinese food as I often feel like it never digests right and the next day I feel gross – NOT the case here. Idk what’s different about this place – but whatever the do, they do it right! And the same guy is always up front and the nicest person! Great food. Great service.

Thank you Queena and team! This place is a true gem! A small family run spot with a big impact! I had honey walnut prawns with house fried rice. The rice was perfectly authentic and packed with flavor. The prawns were absolutely delicious! The shrimp toast is an east coast favorite definitely try it as it made my heart happy it was sooo good! iAlso the house made chili oil don’t forget to get a cocktail while you wait! 10/10 Ty!

Drove by the restaurant many times and finally decided to give it a try. The hot and sour soup was good. Flavorful and hot (temperature). I will probably order a big bowl the next time I go. General Tso’s chicken was really good and they put salty black beans in the sauce which added another level of yumminess. I didn’t give five stars because the steamed rice was a bit hard and dry. I hope they will make some adjustments (maybe pre-soak the rice) to raise the bar.

Best Wok never disappoints! Their Salt & Pepper Tofu is hands-down the best I’ve found anywhere — perfectly crispy, full of flavor, and totally addictive. I could honestly eat it every single day! The portions are generous, the service is quick, and everything always tastes fresh. If you’re a tofu fan (or even if you’re not!), this dish alone is worth the visit. Highly recommend!

I’ve been eating at Best Wok for over 30 years and it Never gets old. Service is always great and Peter always remembers our family, and takes the time to come and speak to us.
Just a great restaurant.
