Late lunch. Wonton soup, hot & sour soup, eggdrop soup. Beef & onions (very tasty and tender), shrimp and broccoli, both came with shrimp fried rice (could have used more shrimp). Shrimp was very tender. Attentive service and food came out in a reasonable time.

New to the area. Judging from the previous reviews I thought it was worth checking out… I’m not sure this is the same place y’all are talking about. We made our order. Hot and sour soup, fried dumplings and shrimp fried rice. We were told 15 minutes or so. 45 minutes later we had to ask when the food would be ready. Another 10 minutes and we got out food. The Hot and sour soup tastes like straight vinegar. The worst Got and Sour Soup I’ve ever tasted. The fried dumplings were ok. The fried rice was greasy. Was just very unimpressed. For a small town like Purvis with limited options this just isn’t good.

First time here at Best Wok. This place reminds me of the best wok in Hattiesburg, not sure if it’s the same place, but probably not. I got the black pepper chicken lunch special which tasted fresh and good. The fried rice was great, chicken wasn’t too dry and hard. The egg roll was better than expected but wish it was a crab rangoon as there was an option for it, hope they asked. I forgot if soup was an option too for their lunch special. Good parking out in front. Lots of seating inside. I would come back.

Garlic and herb wings were delicious and perfectly cooked. Chicken fried rice could have used a little seasoning but I used some seasoning that fell off the wings. Pork egg rolls were perfect. My wife’s Mongolian beef with rice noodles was great. Total was 26 dollars and I gave the cashier 40 and she forgot to give me my change but the meal and service was worth it.

I love this place! The food is amazing and the staff and owner are just the nicest people! I love going in here and take my mother every time she comes up for a visit. She really loves going here as well. And it’s very reasonably priced.

Extremely unprofessional, rude, will have you waiting over an hour for food that’s already been sitting and waiting for who knows how long, then gets LIVID when I ask for a refund. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone, just go to Hattiesburg for your Chinese.

I just moved to Purvis, I lived in Hattiesburg for years and had a favorite Chinese spot, so of course I’ve been kind of bummed that I’d have to drive 25 minutes whenever I wanted good Chinese food.
I am no longer bummed and have a new favorite spot. The ingredients are fresh and authentic, the people are kind, the vibe is immaculate, the cost is extremely reasonable, and the food is so filling and tastes amazing even a day later. I seriously have no complaints, will 100000% be back again. Their menu has earned a spot of honor on the fridge.
