Not very crowded. Walked in and had seen a girls soup that looked super interesting. That’s what i got and LOVED IT! Appetizers, egg rolls and Rangoon’s, were hot, fresh, and delicious. food was very savory, excellent portions. but the wanes (?) soup with milk was the star! so different, and savory i loved it. It was our first time visiting, and we will be back.

My daughters and I would eat Asian food all day, every day, if only it were feasible. Best Thai is among our favorites, and while I have reviewed it from a solo visit not long ago, I’ll share what the three of us had today.
Youngest Daughter opted for Udon Noodles with Tofu, which is essentially a huge bowl of soups with massive chunks of plant-based protein. The tofu has been lightly fried, and while this is a soup, it was still edible for the most part with chopsticks. Well, until you are left with only the broth!
Oldest Daughter chose her favorite, Tom Yum Soup with noodles, chicken, pork, and shrimp. This bowl packed a lot of heat, both temperature and spice, which fit her just fine.
And I went with a long-time fave, Green Curry Tofu and Steamed White Rice. This, too, was mouth-on-fire hot, and Oldest Daughter and I laughed about how we were having to wipe our sudden sniffles.
We give six thumbs up. Best Thai provides sizable portions at affordable prices. Check hours for openings, because they shut down between lunch and evening meals.

Wow. I wish I wasn’t visiting so I could have this more often. Some of the Best Thai I’ve had. Loved the Pad See Ew. Found another reason to come back to Canyon other than family.

Service was okay, but they weren’t super friendly. My massaman curry with tofu wasn’t that good. Not spicy at all, and the tofu was almost crispy on the outside (fried, I guess?). Portion was small. The others thought their meals were okay, but not great. The food here wasn’t bad, but it isn’t a place I’d probably go back to. Our Thai places back in San Antonio are much more flavorful, and most have the option of sweat-inducing spiciness like I prefer.

I ordered the Spicy Ginger and Jasmine tea . It was very good and the portion was more than I could eat. I love ginger and this dish really hit the spot. It could’ve been spicier, but I’m from NM where chile runs in our veins. The waiter was very nice and quick to serve. I definitely recommend Best Thai Restaurant!

I’m obsessed with Thai food and this place is just hands down the best in Canyon TX. Awesome Goyza, Egg rolls, Spring rolls, Pad Thai, Tom yum noodle soup, Beef noodle soup!!!! I highly suggest trying out Best Thai if you live in Canyon TX, Amarillo TX, or you are just passing through and find yourself hungry. Best Thai is the best place to give a try. Their staff are wonderful people and their food is always cooked to order and they give pretty good portions. You can call ahead an order or dine in and they have a drive thru. This place is gem in a small cute town. You won’t be disappointed with Best Thai! (Picture is Tom yum noodle soup)

Literally the best Thai restaurant in Canyon. The staff is amazingly friendly, and I’ve never had a bad experience in all the years of dining here. The portions are generous, the sweet tea and lemonade are outstanding, and nobody makes cream cheese wantons like Best Thai. The pad Thai is perfectly sweet, salty, and savory, and the cashew chicken is the best comfort food. I love the vegetarian options too!
