My wife and I were so excited for this new restaurant we showed up there for lunch and walked right in not knowing they hadn’t officially opened this location. We apologized and said we could come back later. The family and staff were so friendly they insisted it was okay. I felt very privileged to be seated and waited on before the official opening. The aroma in the air was delightful. The staff was great. The food was delicious. We will be returning very soon. The atmosphere was impressive and they have a bar which also looks nice.

My wife and I were looking forward to enjoying some Indian food and Best Taste of India did not disappoint. The dining area is large, bright and clean. I ordered the Chicken Goa Curry. The meat was sweet and cleaned of all gristle, fat and bone. I ordered it one notch up to spicy and it was a real mouth tingling experience. My wife had the goat. The meat was tender and very flavorful. We split an order of Veggie Samosa which had a very nice flaky pastry and flavorful stuffing. The portions were large and we had enough to take home for another meal. It turns out the owner is the brother of the “Taste of India” restaurant in Rockaway. The restaurant is family run, buys locally, and has a friendly atmosphere. We recommend highly.
