The ribeyes and grilled shrimp with baked potato’s and steamed broccoli were utterly fabulous. Will definitely return to this restaurant. John and Dorie are great restauranteurs. Love their food. .

The service was pretty good, we were taken care of quickly and our food came out fresh and fast. We did have to ask for refills a couple times though and the food was a bit hit and miss. I had seafood gumbo and grilled shrimp and it was great, but the fried rice I got with it was dry and unflavorful. It’s a small place and reasonably priced.

The food was good. I had fried shrimp, veggies, hush puppies, & a salad. The dressing I believe was from the bottle, it had a different taste than what I am used to. My husband had the chicken fried chicken with the fried okra. He stated it was good. The pecan pie was okay. Bout over all, a nice place to spend for a quick anniversary lunch.

We have dined at Best Seafood & Steak House many times and their food is always very good! We usually have their seafood and it is so delicious! The cheesecake is amazing!! They also have great prices!! The owner is very sweet and the service is always top notch!! I highly recommend!!

Our food is always great — and tonight, the waitress stayed late so my husband could go back and get a toy that my son forgot there. Not only did the waitress go out of her way to wait for him, she even went through some discarded tableware to discover the extra piece of toy that was missing. We so appreciate such excellent — selfless service!!

If you leave this place hungry your either a competive eater. Or just different. The ladies running the place or super friendly, my tea never emptied and I left filling apriciated for stopping in. If your in El campo. Give this one a try. Great fish and can’t wait to try the steak.

DON’T GO!!! 1st-We weren’t even greeted and the waitress, once she finally showed up, made us feel like she didn’t really want us there. 2nd-The shrimp were over cooked. 3rd (and worst)-The fish made me sick as a dog! The fish tasted excellent when I was eating it, but had some discoloring that I assumed was from the batter. Now, I think they aren’t handling the fish properly or something. I didn’t know something was wrong until I came up out of bed projectile vomiting (and the big D). I was sick all night. I threw the leftovers out. Overall: I will absolutely never go back, and don’t recommend anyone else go either. Just a suggestion…

Good food with all types of genres from seafood, steak, and Italian dishes. Was busy when we went on a Tuesday, only cause there was only 1 waitress working all tables, so it took a little while to get our meal. Other than that everything was fine. Will go back. Perfect for family gatherings.
