My husband and I stopped in today (11/1). We are visiting from the east side of the state and were looking for a place for some lunch. I found this spot while searching Google maps and we are so glad we stopped in. We both got a 6″ sub with a pickle spear on the side. Our sub sandwhiches were delicious, we both felt we should have probably gotten a 12″ sub. The bread was light and complemented the toppings so well. They truly were fresh tasting and didn’t weigh you down. The man who took our order was so kind and made our experience just that much better. We will be talking about this place for the foreseeable future and will make a point to stop in here whenever we are in town.
Don’t sleep on this shop, stop in a try them. You will not be disappointed.

This place has quickly become a favorite of my husband and I. Sandwiches are always fresh, warm, and delicious! It’s been a joy to explore this menu! Staff is always friendly, and willing to answer questions and give suggestions. My husband has a dairy allergy, but there are still so many options! We will definitely continue coming to enjoy this wonderful food and fantastic staff!!

What a great sandwich place! In combination with a bakery, what more could be desired? We are on vacation from Indiana and after looking over reviews, this place seemed best. We were not disappointed. My husband and I each ordered a 6′ sub combo with Great Lakes Kettle Chips (our favorites) and a drink. The ingredients all seemed fresh and were delicious! When we finished, we contemplated on a dessert purchase at the bakery. While considering the options, 2 desserts were brought to us with an explanation that they had extras on hand. They were delicious! We still purchased a few dessert items to take with us for after supper snacks! An added bonus: clean bathrooms. We will likely return the next time we come to Holland, Michigan (in the summer perhaps… today is windy, snowy, and cold with a “bomb cyclone”).

I have been craving a gym shoe sandwich from Chicago (pastrami, corn beef, Italian beef, roasted on a spit roast on a sub with the works) and i have to say the Reuben sandwich here hit the SPOT! This is my new go to spot for authentic Reuben’s and other great sandwiches on rye. This is the closest you will get to Chicago style subs and sandwiches. Plus Mickey the owner is such a nice guy and he clearly cares about his food and treating his customers great! Will be back! Also they are located inside Rykers bakery!!!

Soooooo impressed!! We stumbled across Mickey’s on accident, and we stumbled across the BEST Reuben sandwiches I’ve ever had! I joked on High my expectations were, and the owner literally brought me my food and opened the door for us. He was so kind, and the food was AMAZING! Pasta salad, marinated cukes, turkey club – all soo good.

I had not even noticed that this sandwich joint existed, but found it while browsing Google Maps! Finding their location was a bit difficult because of a lack of signage. For those looking to find it, it is actually inside of Ryke’s Bakery next to Biggby. It is not a standalone restaurant. I ordered the #16 Spicy Italian and really enjoyed it! The gentleman who took and prepared my order was very polite and cordial. They have fresh ingredients and don’t seem to mind customization. With prices creeping up for food from chains like Subway and Jimmy John’s, these independent sandwich shops are becoming increasingly attractive. I would encourage you to give them a try and support a local sandwich shop that has a much better quality sandwich than what a chain can deliver!
