I am a fan of thin crust pizza. I enjoyed the texture and flavor. It is a bit on the over seasoned side, in my opinion. I ordered a plain, a vodka spinach ricotta and a chicken Cesar wrap. By the time we got home (~10 min) the pizzas were ice cold. The wrap was okay. It was my first time here however, my friend has catered from here many times and I always raving about it. I will have to return to best of everything deli to try a few more items and update this review.

I’m not a fan of their “personal thin crust pizza”. When I was handed the box at work, I thought it was empty. The pizza was paper thin! It didn’t taste bad, but for what it costs, you should get more. This is no way to set yourself apart from other pizza places. Give me a pizza I can sink my teeth into, with some crust. I’ve had the white pizza from here and that was much better. Consider giving more thick crust options like pepperoni, meat lovers, taco, buffalo chicken, etc.

I recently ordered from Best of Everything Deli last minute for a party for about 20 adults and 10 kids. I spoke to Anthony a few times on the phone and met him in person. He was very polite, friendly and helpful with deciding what I should order and the amount. He even told me not to add more items because it will be way too much which I highly appreciate (I ended up having 10 people cancel the day before so thank goodness I listened to him) The food that I ordered was all very good, most of my guests thought it was home made and wanted the recipe. The food that I ordered was simple, salad, mac n cheese, potato salad, egg plant dish and grilled vegetables, however they were all prepared very well. My guests were very happy with the food and I have tons and tons of left overs which I am fine eating for the next few days. Very happy with my choice to use this deli for catering. Also a huge positive is they deliver! I did not expect that at all and it was super helpful!

Best of Everything has the good stuff – well made, courteously served, delicious generous portions. Prepared food, sandwiches, pizza, lunch, dinner – all score big. I’ve been a customer for 30 years. Now my kids are and we’ve enjoyed their two generations of fine food. Go in with an appetite. Come out with a smile. You’ll be back for more.

Ordered 3 12″ pies, all of them were undercooked and not cut at all. I only ate 1/4 of the pepperoni pizza I ordered before I stopped. The plain pizza shown below was very cold and tasted like dough. When they offered to heat it up at the restaurant before I took it home I assumed it was because it had gotten cold in the time it took me to get there but now I think they never cooked it at all. Usually the food is great, but this is the last time we’ll be ordering here.
To clarify based on the comment from the owner, there was no indication the food wasn’t cooked. Every other time I’ve ordered from here it’s shown up cooked and ready to eat. I ordered 30 minutes prior, and no other pizza place I’ve ever been too has sent me home with literally uncooked food. It’s honestly just unprofessional.

The food is superior to any restaurant/deli in New Jersey. We love the sandwiches, pasta dishes, chicken pot pies & specialty items like Frank’s shepard’s pie. Thank you so much Frank for creating wonderful, delicious, homemade food that everyone in our family loves.
