Ordered here plenty of times- ordered a pepperoni calzone and they gave me cheese…. Just cheese. And they want me to drive all the way back there with my food to refund me since I paid in cash. Not acceptable. After that I just hung up. Cold slices sit out all day too

Very poor customer service.
My husband and I clearly ordered mushrooms and pepperoni, with onion on half the pizza. The server confirmed the order.
When the pizza arrived, it had only onion on half — no mushrooms, no pepperoni at all.
When we pointed this out, the server blamed us, saying we were “looking at each other discussing it” and focused only on the onion request. Instead of taking responsibility, clarifying the order, or offering to fix the mistake, he shifted the blame to the customer.
Mistakes happen — refusing to own them and making the customer feel at fault is unacceptable. This experience showed a complete lack of basic customer service.

Light baked “Family”-sized Stromboli (sans salami because I don’t like it)
Was $32 which is a bit more than I would’ve liked to pay but it *IS* 2025 so I’m not too upset. It’s an fair size! and tastes pretty good. Also, I’ll have leftovers which is why I wanted it in the first place 🙂
I don’t think this should be called family size though lol, the website says “for 2 or more people” but honestly this for like, 3 very polite people max.

I truly love best ny pizza. My extended family isn’t from here, and they were blown away with the flavor of this pizza. The pepperoni one is delicious! Garlic knots too!

This is one of our favorite places for pizza but they also make a great Cheese steak sandwich which I often get. Crust is on the thinner side which we prefer and they never complain when we order different toppings on each half of the pizza. They also have a full menu of other Italian dishes, but it’s the pizza which keeps us going back year after year.

I usually order takeout from here, but decided to dine in this time. Ended up spending about $50 for a medium pizza and mozzarella sticks — definitely not the cheapest, but for really good pizza, I’m okay with that. The pizza is still top 3 in Tampa in my opinion.
What disappointed me was the service. Fountain drinks are $3.50 (and with two kids, that adds up), but I couldn’t find an employee for a refill. I also had to track down my own to-go box because we were pretty much forgotten after the food came out.
Great pizza, but the dine-in experience didn’t match the quality of the food this time.
I previously left a 5 star review a few months ago and don’t want that to change . Just want the establishment have an opportunity to fix what may be lacking

We just stumbled in to this place and wow!! It was soo good! The crust and cheese stretch was to perfection! I got the combo #1 (2 cheese slices, garlic knot and drink) and I just did NOT want it to end! It was also so clean inside and well kept. It should’ve been busier because this pizza is better than MOST out here! They also have trivial pursuit game cards to play while waiting for your food! (Very hard lol) my hubby got a cheese and white pizza slice (I should’ve also gotten that one it was freaking good!) They got the secret sauce here! Will definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Pep. Pizza tastes good. It’s got great thin crust and the sauce tastes homemade not generic like dominoes/Pizza Hut etc.. The strombolis are freaking huge and you will have left overs. Eating mine for breakfast now. I Came for the Boli, I’ll come back for the pizza.

a friend from NYC recommended this place and we have been coming here for many years. I love it because you can stop in for a quick slice or sit down at a table for a meal. Service is always great! Slices are available for many tastes and preferences so everyone is happy. Highly recommend this spot for your next pizza craving.

Just having the pizza is a must. Perfect pizza and great undercarriage. Pizza wasn’t floppy and perfectly toasted. Great stretch to the cheese and the crust was amazing. Some “NY” style pizzas are too greasy but as you can see our plates, it was perfect. Definitely a 9 and the only reason I didn’t give it a 10 was because I wish the slices were Huge! Great find and hidden Gem!!
