Used to go here all the time and it was amazing. Went today on my way home to get the Philly gyro because I hadn’t had it in years. I go in and order and it came up fairly quickly. When I got home and opened my gyro I was disappointed. The Philly gyro is supposed to have grilled peppers and grilled onions and melted cheese. What I received was a gyro with raw banana peppers, raw onions, and no cheese. Normally I don’t complain, but this meal was $25 for the gyro, fries, and an 18% tip for food that I have no desire to consume.

Served me a plain salad with no dressing. Just dry plain lettuce and toppings. Went back in to the kid working at the counter and said “does the salad come with dressing?” He pointed out some thick chunky white cucumber sauce and said “this is our dressing”. As if I would put a butter like whipped creamy sauce on my salad. I asked don’t you have plain Greek or even Italian dressing and he FINALLY said “yes” and gave me one tiny packet of Marzetti Greek vinaigrette after charging me an extra 75 cents for “dressing” and trying to give me some whipped cucumber sauce. I used to love this place. The food was cheaper, had a ton of meat, and always quality. Recently it’s gone downhill and the value is terrible. I just ordered a regular best gyro and payed over $13 and all got was a ton of onions, 2 tomato slices, and like 5 small cuts of gyro. That’s it. I basically payed for an extremely overpriced onion sandwich. Once I removed the onions I couldn’t even justify this as a kids meal for how little gyro they gave. And they have the audacity to ask for a tip just to place an order. Every other gyro place I’ve been to recently is significantly better. There’s nothing “Best” about this place

This place just isn’t what it used to be. There has been a significant decline in the quality of the food. They used to have really good gyros and the past several times I’ve had them the food was at best questionable. The gyro meat was dry and luke warm, and had an unappetizing appearance. I have no idea what has changed over the past year or so but it needs to go back to the way it was. I’m very disappointed.

Went and ordered a junior gyro and waited for a long long time while several other customers got their food. I patiently asked and it wasn’t even started. After continuing to wait for a time finally it was ready they offered to give me baklava and I said no but it ended up in my bag. After leaving I had the gyro in my car.. NO SAUCE hardly any meat terrible lettuce and soggy fries. Go somewhere else for your gyro. All that for $16

We drove over 45 minutes since Northfield store was already closed. We ordered gyros with extra taziki sauce for both. Did not receive’extra’ sauce and there was not enough meat on either sandwich but there was a lot of onions & lettuce.

I love the food here but I work nights and when I get off on the weekends I like to order dinner but this is the 3rd time iv been told an hour before they close that they are not Taki g orders due to short staff. For a small place like this it seems odd that they have staff to answer the phone to say they are closed and yet can’t make food.

Order a “best burger.” It took 20 minutes..when I finally received it it was hard and luke warm. I can not understand how this is possible when I was the only customer in the store for 10 minutes of that 20. It didn’t appear to be any orders being worked on. Workers didn’t seem concerned about quality or experience.
