I’ve been a long time customer of best food in town since I moved to South Tom’s River. And overall in that time frame, I’ve enjoyed their food. But as of recent; there’s a reason we stop going here as our choice chinese restaurant. I understand increasing prices to meet demands in our current economy, but the portion sizes of the food has gone done drastically within the last couple years. It shouldn’t be like that. Price goes up, amount of food down.

My family has been coming here for MANY yrs. Most of the time food is good. A few days ago we ordered and it was I think the best it’s been in a while so we decided to reorder the same exact items tonight. Needless to say everything was so Bland even the rice and chicken was overcooked tasted totally different and so Bland. So disappointed I had to call them and have one of the meals remade. I just couldn’t eat it. My husband dealt with his because he just got home from work and was hungry. Well even my order that was remade was still so Bland at least it wasn’t overcooked this time but I don’t even want to eat it because it’s tasteless. I wish they would stay consistent because when they are good they are good. Even after explaining to her it had no taste and was dry or overcooked it’s still the same minus the overcooked so if you’re thinking about going tonight. Just be aware your order may not taste the same

Such nice people! I live 2 hours away but was craving Chinese. We ordered shrimp egg foo young- it’s really good but the gravy was weak.

This place has such good tasting food, they are super accommodating especially for my mom who needs to be gluten free, they make the chicken special for her without flour etc. You can tell when you order that the food is fresh it always comes hot and in a timely fashion. So glad we made this our main Chinese food place to order from. Truly the best around!!!

It’s my favorite Chinese place. Cream cheese wontons, BBQ wings (well done). Their BBQ sauce tastes like a mumbo sauce, a little sweet. Like a New York style Chinese flavor.

I never like giving a bad review, but hopefully it helps make the business better. To start when you walk in there are boxes like up against the wall. It didn’t look to clean, dirt piles in the corner. There is not a public bathroom. The food wasn’t the worst but it also wasn’t the best. The rice tasted like plastic, the wonton broth tasted like there cleaner in it. The cuts of chicken were not to bad, but the sauce was lacking flavor.
